anyone watching WM online? ;) pm me plz

Sure am....

Disappointed with this years Wrestlemania. Nothing exciting happened. Everything that everyone thought, happened. We DIDN'T see UT loose, we DIDN'T see ORTON turn heal. Only real surprise was Miz.

what happened to the best match of the night? Tons of Funk and The Funkadactyls vs. Team Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins. ?

The only thing that would make the WrestleMania 29 main event worthy of being the featured match is a heel turn by John Cena.

...well, I have to say if I paid $60 for that WrestleMania, I'd be p*ssed. Actually, I still would be if I spent ?17.95 on it. Punk vs. Taker easily shadowed every other match, and frankly, it should have been the last match. The crowd just didn't really care after that. Punk/Taker was probably a 4.5* match, and I say that even after I bet my Miz winnings on Punk! Oh well, c'est la vie; I didn't lose any actual money in the end.

Right, tweets of the night roundup. This is gonna have to be split across several posts (I'll split them for each match), so apologies in advance...

...oh, and obviously, spoiler alert!

Yeah it's an awful shirt but it'll become a big seller I am sure, wonder what cena will replace the bulls with on the belt, hopefully not with what we see on the shirt

(whoa firefox is dying in thread with all those tweets ;) )

Not even remotely close.

Indeed. Got a few in my mind that are definitely worse; Big Show vs. Akebono in a sumo match, Hulk Hogan vs. Yokozuna, Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg, Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez (the only match in the streak to be won via DQ), Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. "The Model" Rick Martel in a blindfold match, Chavo Guerrero losing the ECW title to Kane in 8 seconds, or how about a recent one: Jerry "The King" Lawler vs. Michael Cole.

Were the crowd chanting "this is boring" during that match, wouldn't surprise me

Probably were. They definitely chanted "boring" during Rock/Cena.

According to PWInsider.com, CM Punk legitimately hurt his knee after hitting the announce table during the elbow drop spot in his match last night. Punk was reportedly in a lot of pain backstage after the match last night, and people were amazed that he was able to finish the bout as he did following the injury/spot.

Well, I heard rumours Punk was already gonna take some time off after WM to heal up. He definitely needs to after last night.

Several more WZ readers have sent in complaints about obstructed views at WrestleMania 29, and have included the following thoughts and photos:

Danny sent in the following:

I paid $200 to sit in section 109; not only was our ring view obstructed, but the huge stage set also provided a an awful view of the stage from our angle. Watched 98% of show on screens. Pics included. Will be contacting WWE w this info.

Herman Gonzalez sent in the following:

I have to say first of all I been a wrestling fan for 20+ years. I been to 3 wrestlemanias 2 in the NY area and 26 in Arizona. I am very disappointed in Wrestlemania 29. I have enclosed pictures that also show a pillar in the way of the ring. My wife and I paid $950 for these seats and there was a pillar. Can someone please tell me why the hell is there a pillar there??? The matches to me felt rushed, the whole PPV felt like there was no plot or hype to it and then no surprises happened. I am a very big fan of Dolph Ziggler but why didnt he cash in his MITB. The crowd was calling for it why not give the crowd what they want, I mean we all paid money for the show listen to the crowd. I feel WWE has not been listening to the crowd and that's bad. The Intercontinental Title is defended on the pre-show. Really Really No pun intended. I like Cesaro and he isn't even booked on the show after hes been working real hard to carry the US Title and put some prestige into the championship. Daniel Bryan an excellent wrestler stuck in the tag title match. I felt they could have done more and to be honest Undertaker and C.M Punk really saved the day. Had Ziggler cashed in successfully then maybe my wife and I would have went home happy, but that didnt happen and we are extremely disappointed. Vince put a lot of money into the structure but no real effort into the storylines.

Jason Gonzalez sent in the following:

I was sitting in section 116. Like the previous report I saw I had that pillar blocking my view. There is nothing on the ticket saying limited view or anything . I went to guest services and a WWE representative couldn't do anything about it . There were alot of people complaining too. They give you a wwe phone number to guest services but the voice box is full.

The Irish Herald is reporting that Rebecca Knox has signed with the WWE!

http://www.herald.ie/entertainment/w...-29181218.html

Knox was trained by the current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Prince Devitt and, after making a name for herself in Europe & Canada, she got called up to wrestle for SHIMMER Women Athletes in 2006, where she impressed with her innate charisma and wrestling talent. However, during a match in Germany later that year Knox suffered a severe injury, cracking her skull open and sustaining nerve damage in her neck that, ultimately, forced her to retire from wrestling. She made an attempt to return in 2008 but cancelled and wasn't seen again until 2011 when she accompanied Saraya & Brittani Knight (WWE's Paige) to the ring at a SHIMMER event.

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
