Alot of Sting atm at WWE, signs he has signed

Signs? If that is legit and real, he HAS signed. WWE can't just release media with Sting's name on it without Sting legally allowing it.

That picture makes him look so worn and old...not sure I want to see a match

Its more about seeing the guy on WWE than actually seeing him for his wrestling ability.

not sure if you agree with me or otherwise.

personally i think Russo's legacy is: he did a wonderful job in either get (then) WWE out of the hole they got themselves into (attitude era) and destroying WCW with his over the top, crazy and anarchic bookings and works, resulting in a mess of a storyline.

That's exactly right. Russo was responsible for the Attitude Era in WWF but he was also responsible for the death of WCW; the reason why was because in WWF, he Vince McMahon gave the final approval for everything Russo wrote, so essentially, McMahon filtered out (most of) the crap, whereas in WCW they let him do whatever he wanted. The only upside to TNA is that they thankfully haven't made him head writer again, so hopefully John Gaburick knows which of Russo's bits to approve (edgier storylines, better use of the midcard, etc.) and reject (anything involving an "object on a pole match" or putting a title on a non-wrestler).

Speaking of putting titles on non-wrestlers, I just read one of Russo's ideas for for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship at Souled Out 2000 when Bret Hart was injured: doing a rumble match, have Sid Vicious as an early entrant, survive to the final entrant, have Tank Abbott come out and eliminate Sid with a single punch to win the title.  :| No wonder he lost the head writer spot the next day.

He's not in such bad shape as the Undertaker is; also he's in his 50's (55), so it's only natural that he looks like. Unlike Stallone, not every man is having plastic surgeries :)

Wouldn't it be a good idea to start a new wrestling thread?

There are other sections in Neowin that have a Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, etc. of threads.

If that's supposed to be one of those "when you see it..." pictures, it's definitely on Aksana. Or maybe I'm just confusing part of her outfit for a nipple that's lower than usual.

According to F4WOnline.com, WWE referee Charles Robinson almost lost his thumb while setting up the ring for Friday's WWE live event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Robinson reportedly sliced his thumb very badly, but WWE's Dr. Chris Amann, who was on the tour, was able to stitch it up.

yeah, i've seen interviews from wrestlers that, in the end days of WCW, on the evening of the live show they didn't even knew who would they wrestle to and who would even win; not only the bookings were screwed but wrestlers winning titles and losing them in the same show isn't good at all.

Oh and that David Arquette thing..that was really a bad idea: it devaluated the title into nothing :(

The only thing I remember about Vince Russo from the old WCW days is that he was a f*****g idiot and 0 as a manager. Whoever hires this guy has a suicide wish.

P.S. I've seen a lot of people flaming Eric Bischoff for doing a poor job in TNA. You guys need to think about something: this guy was a genius and he DID set standards in the wrestling business. But back then a lot of things weren't done yet, so it was a lot of room for new stuff. These days, I really don't think anyone can bring something new to the table. The level of reality that he achieved with the nwo will never be matched again, because "it's been done before". So what can he really do these days, and with that poor wrestling promotion that takes its last breath these days? Don't blame the guy, think about how much he did and how many times Vince ###### in his pants because of him. ;)

    • Threads scales past half a billion users, brings deeper community and feed controls by Fiza Ali Meta has announced Threads crossing a major milestone of 500 million monthly active users. And, at the heart of this growth sits something simple: communities. From books to basketball, parenting to music, Threads says its rise has been powered by people clustering around shared interests and, in turn, giving the platform its identity. In response, the platform is expanding its Communities feature beyond beta and introducing a set of new tools designed to make participation easier and more engaging. A redesigned Communities Hub will now appear in the main navigation menu, allowing users to jump between groups without leaving their feed. Each community will also receive a distinct Community Icon, giving them clearer visual identity and making them easier to recognise across the platform. Then there’s Community Progress, which is a kind of live gauge showing how close a topic is to becoming a full-fledged community, alongside guidance on how users can contribute to its development. In addition, Meta is also expanding its Community Champions programme, recognising more users who actively contribute to community engagement. And then things go more local; Local Communities is already available in 100 countries, including North America, South America, Asia, and Europe but are now rolling out with native-language tags starting in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. The platform is also expanding Live Chats to more communities in the coming weeks, adding features such as co-hosting and the ability to quote moments directly into users’ feeds. Beyond communities, Meta is tightening the loop between users and their feeds. Earlier this year came "Dear Algo," a feature that lets people tell Threads what they want more or less of. Now it’s being paired with a new tool, "Your Algo." It allows people to adjust how frequently certain topics appear, with options lasting one, three, or seven days. Meta says these preferences remain private and can be managed alongside “Dear Algo” in a unified settings hub. The rollout begins in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Finally, the company says these changes are part of an ongoing effort to refine Threads based on user feedback and that further updates will continue as the platform evolves.
    • You pay just $100 per TB with this rare 4TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD deal by Sayan Sen SSDs and GPUs are incredibly hard to get nowadays due to high pricing. Discounts are quite rare which is why we report on them as soon as we spot a good deal. For example AMD's new 9070 GRE was finally up for sale at a very good price of just $500 thanks to a special coupon. Sadly that deal is gone but if you happen to be looking for a 4TB NVMe SSD and can spend around $400 there is a really good offer on sale that you should not miss out on as TeamGroup's 4TB G50 model is on sale for that that price which means you are only paying $100 per TB, a very good deal in the current market (purchase link under the specs table down below). The TeamGroup T-FORCE G50 NVMe SSD is a PCIe Gen4 drive and as such it promises to deliver sequential read speeds of up to 5,000 MB/s, helping accelerate game loading, file transfers, and everyday computing tasks. Since this is a 4TB drive you can use it for a gaming library to take advantage of things like DirectStorage. The SSD features an InnoGrit controller and SLC caching technology to support consistent performance. An ultra-thin, patented graphene heatsink is included to aid in heat dissipation. • I agree. I also think Phil stayed too long. They should definitely fire whoever thought all a console platform needed was Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout to survive. Asha and crew are still saying they need more Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. They simply don't get it.
