According to Sports Illustrated, WWE will announce tomorrow that Showtime boxing announcer Mauro Ranallo will become the new voice of WWE SmackDown when the show moves to the USA Network on Jan. 7th.

Ranallo has called boxing, kickboxing and MMA matches for national outlets, including the international feed for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight. Ranallo has also called New Japan Pro-Wrestling for AXS TV.

Ranallo took part in an interview with SI.com and said he was contacted by Michael Cole about the opportunity last month. He will still call boxing for Showtime and do GLORY kickboxing as part of his WWE deal, but he will also work full-time for WWE, which includes being present for RAW and PPV’s, in addition to working on Smackdown.

“This was an opportunity I did not think I would get at this point of my career and I jumped on it. I have been a lifelong fan of the product. Michael said that when Vince saw the Warren Buffett video, it seemed to cinch it. They believed I could sell the entertainment part.”

Might actually have a reason to start watching SmackDown again.

Bleacher report has a bit about "HHH injury".  A couple gifs, and a video about HHH being taken to the ambulance  http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2598866-triple-h-injury-updates-on-wwe-superstars-status-and-return

Funny thing.  During the ambulance bit, Rusev asks Steph "He going to be OK?" to which Steph replied "If you had done your job, he would be".  HHmmm.....maybe RAW will see more than just Roman in trouble?

RAW seemed to be good for a bit.  So far, we saw Steph McMahon, and Vince.  And now a "win the title from Shamus or be fired" match for Reigns.

And the extreme rules match was good too.

THE Ending was pretty good too

WAITING FOR THE BEAST to RETURN.

Super Roman has arrived with looks to be a rehash of the Austin vs McMahon feud.

After the TLC ending, that'd be fine with me (just please, no more potato-based puns).

Monday’s 12/14 post-TLC edition of WWE RAW drew 3.885 million viewers, a sharp 28% increase from last week (3.054 million).

The hourly breakdown shows that fans were very interested to see the fallout from TLC, most notably Roman Reigns’ beatdown of Triple H. The surprise return of Vince McMahon and Reigns capturing the WWE Championship in the main event kept viewers glued to their televisions until the show went off the air.

  • Hour 1: 4.043 million
  • Hour 2: 3.786 million
  • Hour 2: 3.825 million

To put the numbers even more into context, this week’s least-watched hour drew 1 million viewers more than last week’s least-watched hour.

HEY, HEY BAYLEY!!! OOH-AHH, I WANNA KNOOOOOW IF YOU'LL BE MY GIRL!

Takeover London was great and that UK crowd was crazy nuts. :woot:

Also "You're ###### and you know you are" aimed at Baron Corbin; I don't mind him, but I still had to laugh at that. Football chants always seem to translate well into wrestling.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
    • CPPC states can also be messed around with in most UEFI settings but aren't as robust as the ones that the Windows Scheduler can provide! Make sure you look into what your motherboard also has before customizing for the Windows Scheduler.
