SmackDown LIVE has a new addition to its announce team: Tom Phillips. The announcer joins play-by-play commentators Mauro Ranallo and David Otunga, and color commentator JBL, giving Team Blue a four-man booth every Tuesday night at 8/7 C on USA Network.

Phillips made his WWE debut in 2012 on NXT, where he announced NXT ArRIVAL, WWE Network’s first live, in-ring broadcast.

Fear not, NXT Universe, in addition to joining SmackDown LIVE, Phillips will still call the action on WWE NXT every week.

Four commentators on SmackDown. This probably won't last long...

Jeez, and Matt got like thousands of votes for President also as a write in :( What's happening?!!??!

Is that actually true? Someone said Harambe got 15,000 write-in votes, and that turned out to be false, so I'm a little bit wary. :p

Well, it was news on the dirt sheet sites, Wrestlezone reported it as well, but I didn't check actual news sites. So it might be false as well :p

Sick of Cena, (The fans don't know rather to love or hate him)

Big Show is good to beat up little people,

They really need to use Y2J more and give him a title shot since he's back

I really thought they'd give Jeff the tittle shot at WM24 but to no avail (WTF)

John Cena is now mostly good for those dubbed hilarious audio jingles and nothing more. Used to be a fan of him but not anymore.

RAW Superstar Sin Cara has reportedly been “exiled” to the SmackDown side of the current WWE international tour.

As reported earlier, Jericho and Sin Cara were involved in a fight on the tour bus while WWE traveled from Leeds to Glasgow on Sunday. Sin Cara had been annoying the bus by making noises and when everyone asked him to stop, he got louder.

Jericho confronted him and was told to “###### off,” which led to a missed punch and a scuffle. Jericho reportedly bit Sin Cara’s hand during the incident.

Sin Cara was reportedly ordered to undergo anger management classes.

Regarding being “exiled” on the current tour, PWInsider notes that WWE officials were going to send him home at one point but they reconsidered and sent him to SmackDown to finish the tour.

What do you guys think about Goldberg and Lesnar on RAW? I really liked the segment and to my surprise (and I think to many others) Goldberg is looking great for his age. I hate all the sweat, but what can you do? :) I don't think I was this hyped for Survivor Series since 2000 and something, when Taker showed up and made Orton ###### his pants (can't remember the year).

I watched it late, but Congrats to Sexy Star for winning the Lucha Underground main title belt at Aztec Warfare back on the 16th!  After all was said and done, she pinned Mil Muertes!  and Rey Mysterio Jr got the pin on "The Monster Mentanza", giving the Monster his first ever defeat.

At first glance, I thought that was supposed to be a "Dixie Carter in a beard", until I read it and realized it is actually 'the Brian" LOL

Oh yeah, I was late watching it this week and forgot to post it. Big surprise.

    • Visual Studio finally gets long-awaited feature that developers will love by Usama Jawad Visual Studio Code is Microsoft's popular, lightweight, open-source code editor, it is actually Visual Studio that is the company's flagship integrated development environment (IDE). Although the IDE already offers a boatload of useful features for developers, Microsoft has finally introduced a long-requested capability that will be loved by many. While developers have already been able to create Git pull requests (PRs) directly within Visual Studio for the past couple of years, it had not been possible to review a PR without switching to the browser, until now. Microsoft revealed in December 2025 that it is working on UX that enables developers to do just that, and fast-forward to June 2026, and Visual Studio finally has native capabilities to open and inspect a PR, discuss feedback, and wrap up the review, all without switching to the browser. This integration works for both GitHub and Azure DevOps (including on-prem). Developers have access to multiple surfaces to open a PR, including Git Repository, Git Changes, and the Git menu in Visual Studio. Once you open a PR, all the important details will be immediately visible to you, from where you can navigate to various levels of granularity and branch states, depending on the reviews that you are engaged in. As you would expect, you also get a diff view that enables you to see code changes inline or side-by-side in a separate panel. You can also review commit-by-commit. Additionally, this UX fosters collaboration as you can leave comments, reply to threads, and resolve conversations easily. Naturally, you can also leverage Copilot to apply a code suggestion to fix a potential issue. When you are done, you have the ability to approve, complete, and merge the PR. This is a pretty major feature as it has been requested heavily for the past few years. You can try it out in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, made available here recently. Microsoft plans to enhance this experience further in future releases with comment filtering, a timeline of PR activity, and more.

    • Around 68% of developers are now using AI to generate code during development, and some experts are saying that a single developer using AI tools can now do the work of an entire team of 4 to 5 engineers.  According to Figma's State of the Designer 2026 report, 72% of designers now use generative AI in their workflows and 91% say it improves the quality of their work, not just their speed.  But does this mean web developers and designers are becoming less relevant, or are they simply evolving into a different kind of role? Would love to hear from developers and designers here has AI made your job easier, or do you feel threatened by how fast these tools are improving
