Douglas Williams, who of late had been training in OVW as opposed to having a role in company storylines, has been released by TNA.

Williams follows Todd Kenely in being dropped by the promotion.

The talk over the last few days was that some names may be dropped in a cost-cutting measure, so there may be additional releases forthcoming. Stay tuned.

According to a report sent in to PWTorch, AJ Styles was involved in some kind of altercation with a fan during this weekend's TNA live event in Aiken, South Carolina.

While approaching the ring, the "Phenomenal One" was heckled by a fan, and brought a steel chair towards him and asked him to come over the barricade. After exchanging heated words, Styles briefly went back into the ring, only to exit and continue dealing with the upset fan. According to the report, AJ walked towards the exit of the building and challenged the fan to step outside, but he backed down from the fight.

Styles would then go on to defeat Bobby Roode using his new Calf Killer submission hold.

WWE.com sources have reported that Fandango suffered a concussion during the SmackDown taping on Tuesday night and was pulled from WWE Live Events throughout the week.

Fandango passed his impact test, but has yet to pass further testing needed for clearance.

There is speculation backstage at the Richmond Coliseum ? the site of tonight?s Raw ? as to how this will affect the scheduled Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match at WWE Payback this Sunday pitting the dancing Superstar and The Miz against reigning titleholder Wade Barrett.

Stay with WWE.com for further details as they become available.
