Who do you guys think will be the other two participants?

RVD has said that he does not want to come back to wrestling full-time, but I am going to call his bluff. He will be in the Rumble, dudes. The second participant I have a feeling will be Edge - which I cannot freaking wait for. He is one of my favorite wrestlers of all time, probably second or third.

My "dream" participant would be The Rock - but we know that pansy will not be doing ring work for now. He will eventually, I know it! Wrestling never leaves your heart and soul for good.

Booker T ;)

There are still reports going around that WWE wants to bring The Rock in to wrestle John Cena at WrestleMania. He's definitely going to guest host RAW but a WrestleMania match is not at all confirmed just yet. That's not to say it couldn't happen as The Rock seems interested in a return. That's a total 180 from what he was saying a few years ago.

We can now confirm that WrestleMania 26 in March will once again feature a Money in the Bank ladder match with a #1 contender?s contract on the line. RAW superstar Kofi Kingston was the favorite to win, but those plans may have changed as his push has cooled down in recent weeks. WrestleMania plans change all the time.

NASCAR driver Carl Edwards will guest host WWE Monday Night RAW on February 8 live from Fayetteville, Louisiana.

Edwards is one of NASCAR?s top drivers of the day and is hugely successful in the circuit. He will be there to promote the start of NASCAR?s 2010 Sprint Cup season, which starts on February 14 with the famous Daytona 500.

Yay!

Last week WZ exclusively reported that Bret Hart would not be appearing on Raw, and now The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Hart is likely to return to the show this coming Monday. To add to this report, when I spoke to a source close to the situation last week, I was told that Bret WILL be returning to Raw this Monday night.

Davis sent along the following: There will be a live RAW from Nashville in February. The official venue website lists John Cena vs. Sheamus for the WWE title. Could this mean Sheamus leaves the Royal Rumble still holding WWE gold? Check out the link here: http://sommetcenter.com/event.php?event_id=207

Patrick Owen sent along the following: Edge is being advertised for an upcoming WWE Supershow in March. Also advertised are Undertaker vs. Batista for the World title and Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

2010 Tour Blog

First of all, I want to say, thanks for all the support and love that have been given to me over the years. I appreciate every fan, well I said that, but I lied...:) there are some that I don't call fans. Having said that I want you all to know I have come to a decision that I will hold to regardless of other opinions. Bottom line, it's time. There comes a moment and I regret that it has happened, but I simply am unable physically to perform at the level that I find acceptable. I cannot do what I did 30 years ago, and my God, am I glad that I can't. But my love for what I've done in the last 35 years deserves more than I am capable of doing. I cherish every moment that I've had, good or bad, bottom line is I never had a bad moment in the ring. Any moment was something to treasure, and I can only do so by stepping away. Although the cheers and support are still there from you, the fans, I would be a liar to say that it is not only painful physically, mentally, but worst of all, deep in my heart.

It would be unfair to me not to have one more go around the horn. I will do a retirement tour that will last no more than to the end of next year. I honestly feel that it won't last that long, and I hope I am wrong. Regardless of the offers to continue I respect that lady in the ring enough to say "goodbye". I would really love to continue to contribute as a adviser, booker, teacher, etc., and perhaps that opportunity may present itself to me somewhere in the future. For those of you in our business, feel free to contact me for appearances for 2010. The open dates are limited.

Thanks to all, here's to a safe and happy 2010.

During an interview with Live Audio Wrestling last night, Dwayne "The Rock Johnson said he would return to WWE for a guest-hosting role or to wrestle a match on the sole condition that he can "rip up" the writing for the current television product and tap into the "Attitude Era" with an edgier product.

"I want to use the platform as a host to literally rip things open. There's so much stuff we can do," Johnson told John Pollock. "We're going to create an incredible show, an incredible Raw. I'm doing another movie, but after that, we're going to create something special, unique, something badass for the fans. Talking to Vince (McMahon), whenever that's going to be, we're going to have a great time."

Johnson echoed what he said last week during an interview with ESPN in that he wouldn't rule out actually wrestling, but only if he can turn the product upside down and create a compelling storyline leading to a match.

"I accomplished everything I wanted to accomplish in wrestling, so I wouldn't rule out going back," Johnson said. "If the match was right and we could create something really unique and cool for the fans and for my opponent and for the company, I would do it in a second."

Johnson once again said he has no interest in wrestling John Cena, but talked about what it would take for him to work a program with one of WWE's premiere stars.

"I've never been interested in wrestling John Cena. The guys I wrestled in the past - from Goldberg to Hogan to Austin - were guys who I've really wanted to wrestle. If it can be done creatively but not only that, it's very important if I do back is that the writing has to be ripped open and really be pushed," Johnson said. "I came from a time in the Attitude era where we trail-blazed a lot and were fearless in the things we said and did."

Johnson added: "There are a lot of restrictions now on the product, which by the way, I understand, and I enjoy some of the stuff I see and I know some of the writers and they're challenged every week, but if in fact I do go back, it would be an interesting collision of an Attitude time that I loved and the time now, but I'm sure we can always infuse things to make it work."

I really hope WWE is listening to this. If they care about their fans (fat chance of that), they'll do what The Rock says, and then they'll end up with potentially one of the best WrestleMania main events of the last ten years.

Definitely Agreed. WWE as it is now, is incredibly boring, and I actually find TNA to be more entertaining. They really need something new and interesting.

WWE has reportedly tossed around the idea of trying to secure Conan O'Brien as guest host of a future edition of Monday Night RAW. However, there is no word on whether he would even consider the role.

The now former host of The Tonight Show is contractually unable to begin a new series until September, so he should have plenty of free time until then.

Hell, he's had WWE wrestlers on plenty of times in the past. I don't know if he's a fan of the WWE or wrestling in general but I think it would be awesome to have him as a host. At least everyone knows who he is (right???) and he would be over huge with the crowd at the event at the very least.

I really hope WWE is listening to this. If they care about their fans (fat chance of that), they'll do what The Rock says, and then they'll end up with potentially one of the best WrestleMania main events of the last ten years.

rocky rocky rocky rocky lol sorry just had to do that if he doesn't come back he really is a sell out =[

According to a source, WWE stars Chris Jericho and Gregory Helms were arrested Wednesday morning in Kenton County, KY around 5 a.m. They were arrested by the Erlanger (KY) Police Department. Both men were charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

According to the source, they were both bonded out in about an hour. Kenton County is close to Cincinnati, OH. That is where WWE SmackDown! was taped last night.

At least they weren't arrested with weed and coke like Sabu and RVD were lol (well at least weed)

And if HHH wins the Rumble, I wonder how they are gonna do the HBK/UT match since it's kinda obvious it's gonna happen regardless :D

WWE Legend The Honky Tonk Man has stated on his website over at

HonkyTonkMan.net

that he has been negotiating with TNA since December and is close to signing a deal with the company.

Joshua Elliot sent along the following: I was watching Raw last night, and a commercial came on advertising Smackdown, coming to Kansas City, Missouri on February 16th. They mentioned that The Undertaker will be defending his World Heavyweight Title against Batista. If this is the case, then it is apparent that Undertaker will defeat Rey Mysterio this weekend at the Royal Rumble. Just thought I would pass this along

---------------------------------

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that during an interview with Esto, a Mexican newspaper, WWE star Rey Mysterio said that he is about 2-3 years away from retirement. He added, however, that his retirement decision will hinge on how well his reconstructive knee surgery goes which he is having in April.

When asked who might replace him as the top Mexican star in the company, Mysterio said that guys like Dos Caras, Jr, Super Nova and Incognito are all very talented guys who are currently in WWE's developmental program.

And if HHH wins the Rumble, I wonder how they are gonna do the HBK/UT match since it's kinda obvious it's gonna happen regardless :D

The rumor is that HBK will face Batista in the Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out, and the winner will face Taker at Mania for the title.

Yesterday, during the "State of TNA Address," Eric Bischoff said that he never "crapped on" Chris Jericho, that he likes him, but he doesn't think that he can headline as a wrestler. In response to that comment, Jericho tweeted the following: "Bischoffs right I can't headline in TNA...cos I'm not in my 50s."

WrestleZone.com can confirm that WrestleMania XXVII will officially be held at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georiga next spring.

There will be an official press conference held by WWE to make the announcement on Monday, February 1st at noon.

According to a report on F4WOnline.com, Phillip Brooks and Jason Reso, better known to WWE fans as CM Punk and Christian, respectively, were the two who posted the bond to bail out Gregory "Hurricane" Helms and Chris Jericho from their drunken incident last night

Randy Orton has signed a new long-term contract with World Wrestling Entertainment, reportedly for ten years.

He has also received a $600,000 payday for working the main event of last year's WrestleMania pay-per-view.
