This wasn't shot in China, it's one of the towers of Stanley bridge in Alexnadria, Egypt :) it's somehow similar to Chinese buildings style yeah :D here's a picture for it (not by me):

Got my Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D in the mail today - got it second hand and am using it with a Nikon D40, so just autofocus for me. Click the image for bigger - I couldn't believe how sharp the image actually is - heh

also; this thread makes me feel like an amateur XD too many really good photohraphers here on Neowin. I'm not even going to try to name them as I'd forget people... You guys rock!
