A few from a military exercise :)

1.jpg

Reading a map at 0330 in a troop shelter due to horrific weather conditions.

2.jpg

Some shelter for us all to relax and take a break. [Reason I'm wearing a fluorescent vest - I was an observer on the exercise ;)]

3.jpg

Fire in a barn keeping two of the guys warm.

4.jpg

Another group of people.

Milk.

I don't use a particularly fancy camera (Olympus FE-230) but I was in Lincoln the other day and snapped this shot of the capitol building which I thought turned out quite nice. Not sure if I should have used the "shaky" mode but I couldn't find anything to steady my hand on.

I wouldn't class myself as a brilliant photographer, but I do like some of the shots I take.

I went to a concert last night. It's the first time i've actually taken proper concert photos. Despite the pushing about and the constant variations of lights, i thought i got some alright snaps. Seriously, the lighting was awful to take photos in. The band i went to see was Horse The Band and they're very energetic live, so the lights matched the pace of the music, which is super fast. For some reason, they liked red lights that night.

I managed to take better photos of the support act.

Very good shot and composition :)
Thanks....truth be told, I actually took that shot really quickly, I wasn't at all paying attention. Worked out quite well though. :)

Was reading my manual and playing around with camera and ended up taking this it seems, somewhat like peacheys. I'm clueless when it comes to photo taking, but I liked what this read so : D.
