Yeah this card is pure fail but I think I am looking forward to Alves vs Hughes because Alves is a good fighter.

I'm actually really tired of Hughes though I respect him. Heres hoping Alves brings it.

Yeah time for a new star in the UFC.

Bisping finally looked like a very cood fighter against a decent opponent. Murgliota(sp?) once again fails as a ref after that EXC debacle, with yet another lame stoppage in the Werdum fight. I think Werdum would have taken it anyway, but that was a horrid stoppage. Otherwise it was a terrible PPV to watch.

Dan Marigliatta should be removed as a ref from MMA fights.. he obviously has some issues, and if he wasn't paid off for the whole Elite XC thing (which i still think he may have been) then he's just a horrible ref as of lately.

The vera fight was a complete let down.. and i lost alot of respect for Werdum after his post fight press conference where he stated that Vera would have to work his way back up the ranks before he would give him a rematch.. WTF??

The Swick fight was boring.. dude has skills, but he's never gonna get anywhere unless he makes his fights a little more exciting.

Alves is a beast in the cage but not making weight, especially now that he's not taking drugs to help him makes him look horrible and very unprofessional. But still i think after the GSP vs Fitch match.. alves is the next logical step forward for GSP.
