[Official] Grand Theft Auto IV

Has some info about the DLC:

The first downloadable "episode" for GTA IV will be along in August, and it'll only be available on the Xbox 360. Rockstar isn't revealing any details, but company president Sam Houser has suggested they'll be separate storylines you can pick up within the game - like someone coming up to you in the street, asking for your help. You'll have to pay for them, but Houser reckons they'll be excellent value for money - Microsoft's confirmed they'll be at least 10 hours long - and be very popular, as Rockstar's goal is "to fry the Xbox Live servers." Don't schedule any multiplayer for August, then.
Wow, 10 hours in DLC is pretty impressive! I thought it'd just be a couple of missions, not an entire story :p

Sounds awesome, shame we have to pay for them to be honest. How much will the Game + DLCs come to in the end? If each DLC is about 800 microsoft points then yeah... :|

*sigh*

Read what it says, "at least 10 hours" it could be more and i would think it will be especially if the DLC includes new multiplayer modes.

I doubt it will be anything multiplayer - I'd foresee any multiplayer updates being universal.

However on the 10 hour side of things, that is good! Hopefully it is roughly that long, and it doesn't cost too much!

How much was the Oblivion DLC?

Even if they say so I doubt it will be over 10hours :s

I bet the MS guy dont even know anything about this DLC

But Ill buy it for sure :D

I think the most expensive DLC for oblivion was shivering isles and that was 1200 points (i think).

Maybe multiplayer modes would be universal but if the DLC is going to be as big, i can see MP modes or at least some new co-op missions being in there.

@huleboeren, If MS paid for the excluisve DLC and want at least 10 hours they'll demand it. Also i think in an interview Sam Houser has said that they want to make DLC worth it and make it worth our money.

You mean the Horse Armor  or the actual expansion packs.

Actual expansion packs, but it's ok Lingwo answered! Unless the horse armor was 1200 points, but I doubt that :/

Maybe co-op but I doubt any multiplayer stuff is going to be exclusive for either platform!

The Horse Armor was like 800 Points when it was first released i think, perhaps 400 ( Which is still expensive ).

But ... It's Horse Armor!

Awesome! I am so hyped for this game...

Well if it's 10 hours DLC.. I think it's only fair to pay.

    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
