Teen use of pot can lead to dependency, mental illness ?

I wish the NDP (the 3rd most popular political party in canada) would get control considering the leader of it will legalize it if he gets in power. (unless the US interveens like when Trudeau [a very famous Canadian Prime Minister] was in power)

Now I know cigarette smoke dulls the taste buds. Doesn't Pot do the same thing?

I doubt pot is a physical, chemical addiction -- but I've observed a lot of users who seem obsessed with pot smoking.

Their lives seem to revolve around pot -- I'm not sure that's a good thing. :unsure:

Why not smoke some with your lady then go get the steak. It'll be the best steak you've EVER had. Smoke another bowl then have sex. Everyone wins.

Anything that messes with the levels of dopamine and seratonin in your brain can lead to mental illness.

I don't see the point of using pot. It's a boring drug and so not worth it. Go running or something, that'll produce a high that's healthy.

The last time I got into this debate people knocked me for claiming that it can lead to depression as it can take on the depressant trait. Someone else claimed its psychoactive which is true too but a psychoactive floats around several traits including uppers, hallucinogens, downers, etc. Crosses the spectrum. What I notice about the drug it can lead you to hanging out in limbo for acres at a time thus wasting your life.

AFAIK cannabis is known to destabilize psychosis prone people. Physical dependence is unknown, however the calming effect can be very pleasant to anxious people who have therefore a hard time giving up as their anxiety returns in full force.

Also since the dutch started to enhance the cannabis plant it's level of Delta 10 THC is very high. So high that to the inexperienced it's too strong. They are best off using hasish instead of weed.

Receipe for turning bad hasish to good hasish, disolve in alcohol for a couple of weeks. Filter. Heat the resin to 180 celsius for 15 minutes. This well turn low delta thc into high delta thc

with alcohol (even if underage drinking) and cigarettes the biggest worry is getting cancer or ridiculously drunk and puking/doing stupid things.

lol. also getting in a fight and getting killed (in the fight/drunk driving/walking) is also a lot more likely when using alcohol.

can't think of a person who becomes agressive while high on pot tho. the suicidal thought percent should also be higher with alco, than pot. they should look why the people are depressed, not smoke they pot or not later, to get on with their lives

I may be in the minority, but when I get high I get motivated, My house always turns up spotless clean after I have smoked some. My hubby tends to benefit from me getting high as well as it always gets me feeling a bit frisky...lol. But I can take it or leave it. Ive gone on binges where Ive smoked every day for a month and then not touched it for a year. Actually as of right now it's been at least a year and half since I last had any. I'm not a drinker either I hate the after effects of alcohol so I stay away from it.
