Proof that Diablo 3 is Coming!?

New symbol down at the bottom too.. does that add any credibility to the pentagram symbol that had been previously speculated on? It looks like it's in the right area to me...

the new run is a Protoss symbol from Star craft

so you have a rune from WoW

a rune from Diablo 2

a rune from Starcraft

they really love messing with the fan boys :p

As long is not some kind of MMO mashup... :(

I am among the people enjoying the buildup and the theories and the time the fans put into them is amusing.

As a big Diablo fan (or Blizzard fan in general) I do hope its D3 but due to the quality of the stuff they put out I'll be happy with whatever :D

:o.. an inside source inside my pants told me I had a big penis.. you dont see me bragging about it.

Can't be THAT big then can it? :p But yeah, i wouldn't trust those "inside sources". That said, im still quietly confident that D3 will be announced. ;)

Sorry to say, but I have heard about nothing for Diablo 3 from my inside source. I have a source that's an oper for a certain high traffic IRC server. Well Blizzard is asking to use their network for the chat system in an upcoming game. My source gave me logs and I was told the game is not Diablo 3. (I even asked him.) I was told it will be an online MMO for Starcraft. Blizzard used the name World of Starcraft when talking to the IRC network's staff.

So as of right now I'm not hearing anything about D3, but I've heard about a Starcraft MMO.

Another thing to add support to my story.

Look at Blizzard's employment website. There are openings for a top secret Next-Gen MMO. I can't give you any more details on the network or who leaked the info, but that's what it is.

Anyone but me Sick of Warcraft? Don't get me wrong, it's good game, but ALL Blizzard seem to be doing last couple years is Warcraft this, and Warcraft that...

It doesn't help with the fact, to me, Warcraft is my least favorite of 3...

#1 Diablo

#2 StarCraft

#3 Warcraft

If they gonna make Warcraft graphics more like Oblivion, then I may be more happy, but until that, Anything but Warcraft related!!!

Bottomline is, if this is WOTLK related at all, I think I am gonna be so ****ed!

I saved your post in a .txt file. I also bookmarked the link to your post so I could refer to it in the future. If you're wrong, then your inside source is feeding you false information. As unlikely a StarCraft MMO may seem, there's always the possibility. Take a look at StarCraft 2 for example. Most people would've never expected Blizzard to announce it especially since they replied to e-mails regarding the issue. Blizzard's previous stance on StarCraft 2 was that it "wasn't on their list".

Anyway, if what you said is true then I certainly wonder how Blizzard is going to pull off something like that. The best of luck to them!

What makes you think your inside source isn't feeding you a bunch of bull****? :p

I could easily say that my "inside source" from Blizzard is telling me that there's going to be a WC4...
