@The people that are guessing what SE might mean: I'm not going to give you the answer yet so guess further

@tsupersonic: Because it's it's not as dark as you hoped? Honestly, if I'd make it darker it would just be a black version that has been washed more often then Washed Black.

There's no way to make the text black? On the default Luna skin (silver one), the clock is in black text...

It all has to do with your settings tsupersonic. I tried the black text in a beta last year and it didn't look nice at all. I'm sorry that you can't use Silver. The white text fits a lot more.

I'm sorry that not everyone can use this theme because of this issue. But I'm not going to make another Silver version which is darker or which has black text.

Well I would change the settings if I could, but on a laptop, I'm limited to brightness. I changed the brightness to a lower level, doesn't help... Looks so good, but if I can't read the damn clock, then I'm not going to use the skin.

Thanks anyway.

^You can always use one of the other skins. If you are desperate and you REALLY want to use it then you can ask someone if he/she can mod the white fonts to a black font.

@jesse: Several people tried to make a port but it had bugs. No idea if someone's making a serious port atm.

tsupersonic, couldn't you try using LClock and customizing it so you can clearly see the clock's text? It's an awesome addon, anyway. I suggest you try it.

Woo, and Silver looks good. Thanks, again. But Blue SE has made me curious :)

Thanks, I know about Lclock and other clock utilities like Atomic alarm clock.

I'll go try silver on an LCD I have lying around. Unfortunately all the computers I have in my home are all laptops.

@capricorn, you give me permission to change the white fonts to a black one?

It's been a long time since I messed with creating visual styles. :D

@The people that are guessing what SE might mean: I'm not going to give you the answer yet so guess further

Is it Smelly Edition? For people with scratch and sniff-capable LCD's? Make it smell like blueberries if you can.

It's not something typical like Second Edition of Special Edition, is it?

Or does it link back to anything in the original watercolor at all?

@capricorn, you give me permission to change the white fonts to a black one?

You can change it all you want; you just can't release it.

@Capric0rn:

I can agree with that...It will be another Washed Black version, not silver :p

And do you have any idea of making a version of warm colours, such as red or orange, when the Olive and Blue SE are done?

    • Funny, but I didn't had the issue. All PC's at work are Dell and we had the culprit version of Support Assist for about 2 weeks until we got the new one. No problem at all. And for checking you can also use Dell Command Update, no need to search in windows settings. Just check the Upgrade History.
    • YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Apple are scared of their customers! They have built a brand over the years of "it just works out of the box", but that slows innovation. Samsung's master stroke was the Galaxy Ultra: "Let's cram everything into one handset, make it so stupid only real nerds will love it, some of the features will work, some won't, but the audience will have such a high tolerance they won't care". Apple has no such device and so they are constantly worrying these days about the fallout of creating a new experience that customers might not like. I know it is often cited the reason they don't build a touchscreen Mac Book is they don't want to cannibalise the the iPad market, but I think it's equally cold feet after the criticism Microsoft receive trying to make a touch compatible desktop OS

    • So, an article that has nothing to do with Windows 11, still gets Windows 11 in the title and a build number as the picture? Dell have a buggy build of Support Assist HP have UEFI settings that need unlocking for the secureboot cert upgrade to take place.
