^You've got my permission to release that version. There won't be transparent versions though, I want the app skins to look the same as the actual visual style. I've got the same reasons for that as the reasons that I've got for the Vista port.

@tsupersonic: I know that lots of people can't use this skin. But it was requested around the beta's from December and it looked kinda good.

@boday: I thought about making a Crimson Red version. Also, my brother showed me a mobile phone that had nice colors but it's hard to find complementing colors for the controls. If I'm going to make more colors they'll be made after all the application skins that I'm going to make.

^It's still a mockup. I'm going to make a compiled version this weekend for Blue.

@darthmaulbr: Then you honestly need to recalibrate your monitor. I'm using 2 CRT monitors and I can see the clock fine on both monitors.

I believe your best shellstyle so far is still the one you made for LE 5.1, I'm still using it to this day and it never gets old :p . No disrespect to the new one, of course  !

You mean the one for LE 5.1 Black? I've tried something similar for Watercolor Emico but it made me think I was using Luna.

I updated the journal that I've made on deviantART with some more info about further progress plus links to the contributions that have been made so far. Here's the link: Further progress and info

Yup, that's the one. I like it because it separates the shellstyle from the folders clearly.

The blue version didn't feel right at all to me. I wanted to make it look like it's 1 whole. Also, the blue one was to distracting for me. The main reason why I didn't make a blue one is because it made it look like Luna and those kinds of shellstyles are being used in almost every visual style. I wanted to make something original for Emico.

Ah, I see. No worries (Y) .

^Thank god :p

I think you know me well enough to conclude that I don't complain much :p !

@e-gus: Err.. what? And what's up with the weird signature.

Why is his signature pointing to a thread that's almost 7 years old  ?

^Sam is also working on a skin for Steam. He had problems with skinning it though.. The glyphs in the caption buttons can't be changed (?). He also couldn't change the white frame which. Also, his first version had an overlay over the borders.

So I'm not sure if you can change all that. But if you can, you should talk about it with Sam since he already started one. Maybe you 2 can cooperate on it.

Also, those aren't the inactive tabs from Emico, they look a bit different.

About the shellstyles; I'm not to sure if my mockup is going to work out. I have to add stuff to pe.xml and I have NO idea how I should do that. I also can't find a similar shellstyle that I could mod for Emico. I've tried the one from Royal Inspirat but I couldn't remove the extra frame so that's out of the question at the moment.

Is there maybe someone that does know about a similar one?

Maybe WinGnomeXP's universal shellstyle:

or this from NobodyUse's LeopardXP:

^Not either of them has a image in the background. I need one with transparent frames it should have an image in the background.

@cooky560: Did you read the 1st port?

@Karmakaze: Thanks! :D

    • Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. This could be happening to Lenovo PCs specifically. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues. • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
