UT3? I nver got into BF for some reason, and Halo3 is just boring. I haven't played much UT3 online yet, but UT is always good for some fun.

Hey, I mentioned UT3 a few posts ago, let's rock!

LOC, yes I have you on mine, my gamertag is 'Pheis' slightly different as my Neowin account. I also have Pheee, but its a secondary account for when friends come over.

Will look out for you online.

Thanks

Ah, gotcha. Sorry, but I'm bad with names (plus I'm old).

360 or PC though?

Either or for me, but I was talking about the 360 version specifically on here for Neowin members.

I'll also be ordering this soon, so there's a slim chance it'll arrive tomorrow.

Thanks for the link ynnoj :)

I've created an account, just waiting for the confirmation email to come through so I can activate it and then order BF :D

Finally @ Munky, wasnt your initial impression of Conquest playing with Sethos? You know he hates every game! :p

:o ... :(

So are we playing again tonight, only got a few more ranks to 25 and need 3-4 knife-kills to hit the big fitty'

Oh by the way, Happy Jazz > Anything Andy likes!

I'll be on at my usual time 10-11ish UK time. If things get too boring I may go back to single player, I am absolutely loving that atm, its a break from the norm and it's very entertaining. I have 6 weapons to go before I have them all in SP, but I have a feeling that i will have to play through again :( Ahh well :)

Yeah I was feeling the same last night. I had enough of it tbh. The amount of idiots with no skill running around with shotguns is just (N) uber fail.

I'll be playing Skate again for a while then I'll switch to BF.

I may be around for about an hour or 2 of games in like 2-2 and half hours. I don't know yet, but there is a possibility. I'll send you a PM or post here if I'm on.

Saw some more people wanting to play. Feel free to add me (in sig) I know one of my friends plans on playing tonight so me and him will be a two man squad, more than happy to have 2 more tag along. I've been playing gold rush nearly non-stop, but it sounds like conquest players are starting to play like normal people, so that'd be awesome. I'll be hoping on within the next hour or two, maybe sooner, just depends on how long supper takes to cook.

I just picked up the game yesterday and i have only been playing the single player mode. I will be willing to join and play games with fellow neowins if anyone is up for it.

I must warn you, I totally suck online and have about 3/4 times as many deaths as kills!

Thanks for the game guys,

No matter how much I moan and complain, game still have its great moments.

Also got my 50 ( unique ) knife kills tonight, thanks to Habnad  (Y)

Great!

Don't think any of us care about 'skills' or how many kills we get, just in it for the laughs and giggles :)

You're welcome Sethos. :D

I'm going back on. So if you want to keep going for rank 25, I'll see you in a few. Conquest or Gold Rush?

and we're in it for ranking...and points...and to get annoyed at people with shotguns ! Right Munky? ;)

and laughs and giggles as well...

Does anyone play as Support? I feel like I'm the only guy running around out there with med kits! Then when I try assault I can never get a medic, arrgghhh!

If you can get a squad with the right teamwork (and Support) you can dominate. Great fun and the guns are freakin awesome.

If i'm running with somebody I know, I'll go (or them) support. Otherwise, if I'm flying solo, none of the other guys listen or try to work together, so it's no point in trying to heal them as half of them want to go chill in the woods and try to snipe, or other half, won't spawn demo/speciliast, but continue to spawn assault even though those two tanks keep killing them. I swear sometimes it seems like you and maybe one other guy (on a different squad) or the only ones even trying to win.

As the members I have played with can attest to, It is pretty much my main class.

I play 75% Support, 20% Demo, 4% Assault/Specialist, 1% Sniper.

Basically I switch it up as needed, but "my class" is definitely Support.

I can only play as support, for some reason. I have trouble getting kills with anything else but when I am support, I can rake up some kills and heal some teammates.

For me, it depends on the map and also who else is on the squad. On maps like Oasis, I'll go Demo. Most of the time I go Assault and chase DL around for Medpacks. I started playing as Support again, but for some reason, I went back to Assault.

With the members I play with from here, there seems to be one person that is good at each class. We seem to compliment each other well...

    • First time clicking on a Sayan Sen article after he started making clickbait, vague headlines recently. Didn't read, just came here to say the headline doesn't look like very cheap, vague clickbait this time. Are you okay?
    • Good review, and yeah the benchmark breakdown is pretty clear but also a little messy in a good way. It’s kinda interesting to see where the RX 9070 GRE slides in between the 7800 XT and the 9070 XT , especially when it comes to AI tasks and Blender style workloads. The side by side with Nvidia’s RTX 5070 and 4070 makes it feel obvious just how competitive the mid range GPU scene has gotten lately, and that’s great for creators and gamers too since you can pick based on your priorities rather than only chasing one single thing.
    • That's it. I finally uninstalled Firefox because they often keep pushing buggy updates, only to test them later and make users suffer. No longer is it my alternative browser to Edge. What a waste of energy. Firefox is bad for the environment, just like Chrome (wasting RAM/energy).

Alongside Windows 11's new preview builds released this week, Microsoft confirmed version 26H2, which is coming later this year as an enablement package based on the same platform as versions 24H2 and 25H2. A newly published blog post details what IT admins should do to prepare for the upcoming launch. Next, we have new Windows 11 bugs. Users report that this month's security updates for Windows 11 cause all sorts of issues, including BitLocker bugs, OneDrive issues, black screens of death, and third-party integration in Office apps. Microsoft has not confirmed those yet, but it acknowledged other issues with its operating system. What Microsoft has confirmed is a bug where Recycle Bin delete prompts display internal file names instead of actual ones, and a year-old Windows JScript compatibility bug caused by security-focused engine changes. Moving to more positive news, Microsoft and Adobe are working on improving Windows performance in popular creative apps like Photoshop. Thanks to SPGO optimizations, users can expect up to 20% better performance. Finally, we have a few useful articles that can help you recover your PC or make it perform better. For one, we published a guide detailing what to do if your computer cannot boot after a clean Windows 11 install. There are two important steps you can try to get your system back to working in no time. Additionally, there is a more detailed guide on various CPU performance modes that could notably improve performance. This week, Microsoft announced its newest Surface devices powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon X2 processors. There is the 12th-gen Surface Pro and the 8th-gen Surface Laptop. The Surface Laptop also received a new haptic trackpad. Mozilla is currently working on a major Firefox redesign, and earlier this week, it published a roadmap of upcoming features and highlights of the upcoming "Project Nova" rework. Reviews are in Here is the hardware and software we reviewed this week Earlier this week, we reviewed the DuRoBo Krono, a portable, phone-sized e-reader with some interesting physical controls. This device has an Apple Watch-like dial for page turning, frontlight adjustment, and more. Software is simple and no-nonsense, but it also lacks some useful features and customization. Overall, the device proved interesting, but not flawless. On the gaming side Learn about upcoming game releases, Xbox rumors, new hardware, software updates, freebies, deals, discounts, and more. Forza Horizon 6 received two big updates this week. Alongside the Series 2 content update, developers pushed plenty of bug fixes and balancing tweaks. However, they also had to acknowledge the Eliminator CR-farming exploit and shut down the online mode temporarily. Luckily, only a few days later, another fix arrived, which re-enabled Eliminator and patched the exploit. Microsoft announced new games for Game Pass subscribers.
