Keeping my fingers crossed Man U will lose today lol

Fulham didn't have much hope, ignoring our run of clean sheets and 10/11 wins at home, they've only scored 3 away from home all season and not surprisingly haven't won away from home :p Was a comfortable game for us and Swarcher's keeping certainly didn't help them.

Dang it Man U dominated lol I hate them only because their playing such great ball right now. I was watching this game with a friend and I was kidding around with him by saying "Rooney is out and he will stay out" Their he goes warming up on the sideline comes in for 2 mins and scores, I ate my words lol. The pressure is coming on us every match Liverpool needs to play very well to snatch 1st place from Man U. Man U will slip and when they do will be there waiting on the doorstep

Sin-binning is such a bad idea. Football is not a game that needs fixing.

Its all whoppers game these days. Football is not what it used to be. In modern times, if your club is in the Premier League you have a much smaller chance of getting a ticket for the game. It is no longer a working mans game, where you go to the match every Saturday of the week at 3pm, get to watch a cracking game of football, for just a few quid. Now you have people all over the world coming to see a Premier League game, to "sample the atmosphere", but not to add to it. Afterall, how could they considering they take pictures all game with their massive SLR cameras?

Now we have games on at 12:45, 17:15, 16:00 and all other ridiculous times of the day. Why? Television is the answer.

It is all down to money and the ridiculous commercialisation of the sport. If you look closely at football it has all been infected, even look at stadium names!! "The JJB Stadium", "The Reebok Stadium", "The Emirates Stadium". Where is the heritage and pride in that?

It is getting worse as well, and its even spreading to the lower leagues. My friend who is from Carlisle and has a season ticket for them also agrees with me on this.

I went a bit off topic there I suppose, but sin-binning is such a bad idea. Almost as bad as that whole 39th game thing.

Ah well, I'm going the Liverpool v Man City game on Sunday. I'll take my shotgun and get everyone in a jester hat :shifty:

Pompey are getting done over by the ref!

First we score, than stoke get a Pen because the ref thinks Glen Johnson has handballed it, then to add insult to injury it seems James Bettie was offside when he scored the second.

Full time 2 - 2

I never heard of this ref! he was useless, Diao didn't even get booked for a studs up tackle!

We only see what we want to see. Especially on a game by a team we hate, right Martyn ?

You can't really argue with my statement if you saw the match.

The dive was a yellow (and was given), and the kick out at Dunn is violent conduct and deserves a red on its own.

Not really my opinion, just the rules of football.

Hrei?arsson played him on which I think is unfair. He was only where he was because of the Stoke player who crossed the ball in. That same Stoke player was probably offside, but as he's inactive, isn't counted. So the attacker is ignored, so Hrei?arsson should be too.

Ronaldo should have been sent off.

Except the ref saw the flick out he did and gave him a warning and probably gave the yellow for the dive based on that. Even if ronny got a yellow for the flick out, you're assuming he would have dived which probably wouldn't have happened.

I just got back from the City game.

A major disappointment to be honest, we deserved to win but didn't take our chances with the result that another team holds us at Anfield.

7 points is a massive gap at the top now. I think Man Utd will drop points especially with the Carling Cup Final and the Champions League perhaps taking a lot of their focus in the few weeks, I don't think they will drop 7 points though.

:/

If the referee saw it then he should have been sent off. It is violent conduct simple as.

Did you see Wright-Phillips get sent off last week? He did exactly the same as Ronaldo and was sent on his way.

Ahahah, of course I can. But I won't, especially with you.

Clever. Just automatically assume that everything I write is prejudiced against Man Utd, forgetting the laws of football.

How did Liverpool line up Martyn?

They didn't go with 4-5-1 with two defensive midfielders did they?

I'm not the biggest fan of the way Liverpool play i'll be honest but I wouldn't mind seeing them win the premier league at some point.

We played our usual 4-2-3-1 formation. The formation itself was rather free positionally, with Arbeloa and Dossena often getting forward, and Kuyt and Benayoun interchanging.

-------------------Torres-----------------

Riera----------Benayoun-----------Kuyt

----------Lucas---------Masch----------

Dossena----Skrtel----Carra----Arbeloa

We badly missed Alonso, who was suspended, and Gerrard who is of course injured.

We went for the win though in the end, Babel came on for Masch, El-Zhar for Riera and Aurelio for Dossena. The amount of times we put ourselves under pressure in matches through falling behind is just ridiculous though :/

I've noticed in the games that I watched on TV they do exactly that, make changes late on, often too late for my liking.

It might just be me but one up top and two defensive midfielders at home is just too negative.

What is it now 5 draws in the last 7 home games?

Not only you see just what you want to see, but you also read what you want to read.

come on man, if you are going to the exact letter of the law then both were yellow card offences, you can't deny it. That doesn't mean the ref should have. In my opinion it's better to keep the players on the pitch unless it's clearly a red or two blatant yellows rather than two soft yellows, but if you are going by the book then they were strictly both yellow card offences.

I think it's pretty much over for Liverpool, I can't see them coming back now but I hope they at least make a good fight for it.

I wasn't takling about the rules of football but how Martyn's opinion is biased from the beginning.

    • Any decent ITSM will A) have a web form that allows a user to raise a ticket, if you're writing an email you can write a ticket. B) Monitor a mailbox and auto-generate tickets based on inbound mails for those users that really can't get their heads around the concept that if you have an issue you go to support.mycompany.com and fill in the box. From your description you're having users email the desk, and then having a human read each one and manually raise a ticket on behalf of the user.

    • Fixing things? Have you ever tried linux? Everything works out of the box nowadays in most common hardware. This includes Wifi and Bluetooth. If anything, if they return back to windows is because they haven't found an equivalent program which often used on windows.
