Adams has just been sacked.

Funny old game is football, just a few crazy minutes yesterday cost him his job.

Yeah its quite a shame actually, so who now for Pompey?

One name that won't pop up like it usually does is Sam Allardyce :p

I love Torres and loved how Liverpool played this weekend, I'm not saying we played our greatest it was just nice to see their passion for the game even with Stevie out. Portsmouth played really well, but Liverpool just didn't give up. By far the best game of the weekend and thank god no one got injured ...get better soon Stevie G we need you

I heard a couple of rumours..

One involved Sven taking over at Pompey.. and the other was they might find someone to fill in till summer and then go for Mourinho..

Adams had to try and pick up the pieces from Redknapp leaving, Harry didn't leave the squad in a good state, then as soon as Spurs came sniffing with some money which he could spend he was off like a shot.

Seems hard to sack him after the Liverpool match, even in a normal season we would have expected a loss.

If we get anyone in, I'd like to see Avram Grant! He did a pretty good job at Chelsea. I wouldn't be too keen on Alan Curbs, I just feel he lacks a bit of oomph and won't be able to handle or turn around the squad.

Sven? He'd never take over, we've got no money, we could not afford his wages or be able to meet his needs to buys players.

All I can say is: Go Villa go!! :D :D

A real shame that West Ham could not hold United, they deserved a point from the game. :( If Man U don't lose the next one I think it is going to be very hard to stop them from here on in! Thirteen clean sheets now!

I vote you go for Harry Redknapp...he'll be welcome back...right? :p

Probably not, plus things are going to well at Spurs.

And he can't came back and slag the players or previous management off! ?Pretty much all the players we've got he signed!

Exclusing Basinas, Gekis and Pennent. ?Although for me, one Basinas was in the middle, he did do a good job.

I am hearing Scolari has been sacked.

True.

Luiz Felipe Scolari has been dismissed as manager of Chelsea Football Club today (Monday) with immediate effect.

The Chelsea board would like to place on record our gratitude for his time as manager.

Felipe has brought many positives to the club since he joined and we all feel a sense of sadness that our relationship has ended so soon.

Unfortunately the results and performances of the team appeared to be deteriorating at a key time in the season.

In order to maintain a challenge for the trophies we are still competing for we felt the only option was to make the change now.

The search for a new manager has already started and we hope to have someone in place as soon as possible.

While that continues Assistant Coach Ray Wilkins will take charge of the team on a temporary basis.

Wow, holy moley, thats huge news. Nice one Rappy. I wouldn't have found this out for ages. Scolari isn't the one to blame, its those players. Chelsea look certain to collapse now. Roman couldn't cough up to boost the squad when he had the chance, and now this has happened. Chelsea have been pretty shocking and just lack that edge, that belief that the Liverpool and United have. It was a train wreck waiting to happen and well it's sad that a man of Scolari's stature and excellence has to be a victim to it. Personally, I think Steve Clark's departure is the main reason why their results have started to crumble and also why Villa are on their tails.

apparently grant is linked to going back to chelsea... what a joke that team is becoming. You fire him because baby terry can't make a penalty shot, and then you hire then fire one of the best internation managers in the world just to hire the guy back who shouldn't have been fired in the first place? The same guy that got the team farther in the champions league then the special one could.

Owner of Chelsea should sell up and go buy Barcelona.

Chelsea are in 4th place due to the players wanting a kings ransom to play for Chelsea.

If Arsenal had purchased Salomon Kalou, then Chelsea would be in even a worse position than they are now.
