Trophy Support List (Burnout Paradise Patch!)

Recommended Posts

Novastrike is actually a pretty decent game. I got one of the hidden trophies tonight: Don't You Die On Me - The friendly rebel Heralder must survive through the end of Khara (Stage 3). It was pretty easy so hopefully the rest of the hidden ones are that simple.

battlefield bad company is getting patched for trophies. no date yet though.

Remember BattleField: Bad Company? Of course you do. Some of you are probably still playing it. If you aren't, then you soon might be because the game is due to get a shot in the arm before too long. After running a contest through which players could decide on which map pack DICE should start working on first, a post has gone up on the official blog to let us know that there will be other content coming when the map pack drops.

There's no indication on when that'll be, or if it'll cost us anything, but the accompanying patch will be free, at least. With this patch DICE are looking to fix several bugs, such as server lag and VOIP issues. There will also be various gameplay tweaks. Not only that, but three weapons, previously only obtainable through pre-ordering, playing the demo or signing up to the newsletter, will be made available to everyone for free. Check out the full list of fixes and tweaks at the official blog.

Finally (saving the best til last) the patch will add trophy support to the game. PS3 gamers are being spoilt by all these free, content patches. Not that we're complaining. We hope to find out when this'll hit soon.

PAIN's trophies are getting the update soon, and they redid them to make them easier, because, according to the devs, playing for the trophies felt like grinding in an MMO and not having fun.

2 Mill Club: Get ?Pain in the Park? and ?D-Town Destruction? (Change from 10 Mil)

I already posted that news on page 7-8 I think it was, ner ner. :p

The Pain Patch has now been released! :D

But I don't have the game yet to enjoy them, lol.

PAIN patch adds trophies and more ... if you pay for it

The long-awaited PAIN trophy patch is now available to download. Simply load up the game and you will be prompted to download the 325MB patch. Don't forget, PAIN's trophies have been retooled, to make them a bit easier than originally intended. The patch also adds a bunch of content to the game -- but only if you pay for it. Three new characters are available to purchase, along with the new "Abusement Park" (though none of these are available on any region's PSN Store as of yet). There are also new game modes which, we assume, come with the Amusement Park expansion.

There is one free addition to the feature roster, however. Each week a new mini-level will be made available. Each of these "PAINlabs" will be an experimental concept that Idol Minds are playing with and are releasing for you, the players, to test out. An interesting idea -- and best of all? It's free. Though, having said that, we doubt anyone would pay any money for these, judging from the first one.

PS3 Fanboy

The title seems to imply that you have to pay for trophies, this isn't true, just the extra content, really badly worded.

pffft! like I read anything you post here.
So mean.

Actually, you do have to pay for the Amusement Park add-on and a few of the DLC characters to get all the trophies.

Didn't play the 360 version, so I didn't know exactly what the achievements were, but a good portion of those you HAVE to perform in order to complete the game (such as, defeat Atlas, who is the final boss).

I got all the achievements in the 360 version on two plays though, they were pretty easy. I haven't gotten the brass balls however, that's pretty tough. So the gold trophies should be enough of a challenge to warrant a purchase of the ps3 version. I like good challenge.

Awesome, I was wondering about getting it, it looked pretty good and I saw it for something like ?15 the other day which looks to be a pretty good price for a full game that is somewhat new.

Updated the first post with some stuffs too.

Burnout Paradise

Ferrari Challenge

When are these games getting Trophy support? I've got both, fully patched and still don't support trophies :/ when they do eventually get patched, that brings my grand total of Trophy supporting games to 3  (I was actually disappointed Ferarri Challenge didn't have trophy support out the box and the fact it still doesn't isn't helping...)

While I appreciate the addition of trophies to the world of PlayStation (the achievement on the 360 were a big selling point for me) I have to admit, they feel half-arsed...more like "we did it to prove we can" sorta thing. Personally something like this *should* of been at the very beginning, instead of tacking it on at the last minute. They should of just left them off and made sure the PS4 has them from the word go instead. That is my 2 cents take with a grain of salt.

Huh? I have Ferrari challenge and patched it only last Saturday (took all day to download the patch too...damn PSN is so damn slow at the moment) still no Trophy support...hopefully it's just a case of Australia lagging behind the rest of the world again.

Trophies: Mirror's Edge

As we approach the holiday season, more and more trophy lists are being revealed. Mirror's Edge is the latest game to get the trophy list treatment, as you can see below. We're looking forward to getting our virtual running shoes on and try to get the platinum for this game, though we would've preferred it if DICE had taken a little more time in naming some of these. Nevermind, we're just happy the game is getting trophy support at launch in the first place. Thanks PS3Trophies.co.uk.

Trophies: Linger in Shadows (WTF?)

Posted Sep 26th 2008 9:10AM by Andrew Yoon

We don't know much about this mysterious downloadable title. Heck, we don't even know how much gameplay it will have. Even stranger, these Trophies make absolutely no sense to us. Maybe you can help us out?

Bronze Trophies

* Sigil of Time - Freeze and manipulate time in order to force your way through rips in reality. Use it wisely, for it is a power that can overcome great challenges when seeking the light... or chaos.

* Greetings To Fairlight - Fairlight is an old group with a lot of members from all over Europe. They've managed to be on top for the past 20 years. Their fresh demo selection has won many different awards for the hi-end machines and also for old-school ones including scene.org award in 4kb, 64kb and demo category.

* Greetings To Sunflower - Sunflower is an old group that brought new trends to the demoscene in the beginning of accelerated era. Their demos seem to not suffer from time. This is due to their abstract style and very sophisticated music. The group was formed from very experienced sceners and project "Sunflower" survived for only two years (1999-2001). We all hope that they will make a massive comeback.

* Greetings To Still - Still is a relatively new group formed by ex-members of Bauknecht, lkcc and "Haujobb". Their first productions were released in 2007 but have already received interest and critical acclaim within the demoscene.

    • Microsoft Flight Simulator's City Update 15 enhances Midwest cities by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The third major city update of the year has landed for the original Microsoft Flight Simulator and the 2024 release. The latest drop is upgrading the visuals and regional accuracy of three metropolitan regions in the American states of Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The 15th city update is adding eight new areas of interest that have been enhanced with high-fidelity TIN (triangulated irregular network) surface texturing in the mentioned regions. The free update highlights Chicago, Elgin, Cicero, and Arlington Heights in Illinois, as well as Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Duluth, Brooklyn Park, Woodbury, Lakeville, Plymouth, and Blaine in Minnesota. In Wisconsin, the development has also upgraded the lands and buildings of Milwaukee, Madison, and Racine. The update lands just as one of the world's largest enthusiast flight simulation conventions, FlightSimExpo, kicks off in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 14. The Flight Sim development team's 40-minute keynote at the event can be watched here. At the same time, Microsoft is bringing the 6-seat, single-engine, multi-use light civil airplane Piper M600 into the game as a part of its Expert Series 2 program. • Five things you might have missed during Apple's WWDC 2026 by Aditya Tiwari Image: Apple Apple's annual developer event, WWDC 2026, happened from June 8 through June 12. We have already covered several new features and updates that the iPhone maker unveiled during the official keynote. Apple took Google's help and finally announced the upgraded Siri AI personal assistant, which now comes with an app. Moreover, a truckload of Apple Intelligence features took the center stage. That said, this year's WWDC is a bit different, and you might have noticed or missed the following stuff: Apple's ongoing unification of platforms Image: Apple One thing Apple is widely known for is its seamless hardware-software ecosystem. The company added a new chapter in 2020, when it began the Apple Silicon transition and launched macOS 11 Big Sur with native ARM support. Some major changes happened last year as well, when Apple renamed all of its operating systems to version 26 and introduced the Liquid Glass design language. Until WWDC 2025, Apple keynotes had dedicated segments for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and other operating systems, in which the company discussed each in detail. The WWDC 2026 keynote was different, and Apple allotted most of the screen time to Apple Intelligence and Siri. It didn't even publish separate press releases on its website for different operating systems. While it might seem surprising at first, it shows how Apple plans to move forward with its software ecosystem. Be it the Liquid Glass changes, child safety updates, or other features, they are mostly rolling out across multiple platforms. In other words, Apple is slowly blurring the line between its operating systems and achieving feature parity wherever possible. It's easy to rule out that someone in Apple's marketing team forgot to press the publish button. Everything is a calculated move when it comes to a company like Apple. Putting Apple Intelligence left, right, and center hints that the OS itself is no longer the product anymore. It's Siri, not Pepsi Time and again, various Apple products have been compared to unrelated things and turned into meme material. You might have heard about the "cheese grater" Mac Pro or the "trash can" Mac Pro, to name a few. It's Siri's turn this time. The upgraded AI assistant got a fresh logo, and people have started comparing it with Pepsi. There are other contenders, such as the Sony Ericsson logo and the Yin and Yang symbol. Shot on iPhone. Edited on Mac Image: Apple Apple has been putting the iPhone's camera muscles to the test on various occasions. Even NASA astronauts took it to Space earlier this year and captured some out-of-this-world photos. Recently, Apple TV streamed the first major live sporting event shot entirely on iPhone 17 Pro: an MLS match featuring the LA Galaxy vs. the Houston Dynamo FC. The 'Pro' iPhone has also been used to shoot Apple events in recent years. It's "Scary Fast" Mac event in 2023 was among the earliest attempts, and the tradition trickled down to the WWDC 2026 keynote, which ended with the tag line "Shot on iPhone. Edited on Mac." It's unsurprising to see Apple flexing the camera capabilities of its Pro models, especially when it has been baking professional-grade features, including ProRes RAW and Genlock. Hints for the foldable Apple has been sitting on the foldable iPhone for so long. There is still confusion over when the company will make it official. A recent report said that the iPhone Fold might get delayed as Apple is struggling to perfect its hinge mechanism. But Apple has been dropping hints here and there. A developer dug into the iOS 27 beta code and found internal references about device folding states. As verified by Macworld, the code includes references to "foldState" and "angleDegrees" internal status values, which are apparently designed to tell apps if a device is folded and at what angle. As of now, no other Apple device uses these states. The publication also found internal code suggesting Apple has been testing a device with both Touch ID and Dynamic Island, a combo that doesn't exist today. Last event as Apple CEO Image: Apple Tim Cook's bond with Apple is now almost three decades old, having started in 1998 as the SVP of Worldwide Operations. Back in August 2011, Steve Jobs stepped down as Apple CEO months before his passing, and Cook took charge. Now, the baton has been passed to the hardware chief, John Ternus, who will take over the role on September 1. WWDC 2026 is the last major Apple Event for Tim Cook as CEO. We have seen so much during Cook's tenure over the years, much of which defines Apple as we know it today. From new hardware product lines like Apple Watch, AirPods, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Silicon, to boosting Apple's services business with Apple Music, Apple TV, Apple Pay, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, Apple Care One, and more. That said, the first developer betas for Apple's latest operating systems are now available. You can check if your device is supported on iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27, and other platforms. What's your favorite feature that Apple announced this year at WWDC 2026? Tell us in the comments.
