Official Microsoft E3 Discussion Thread

I think the issue is, the hardcore stuff, we expected it all - Not really any new games announced. Just some new features for some of the games.

Then the casual stuff, thanks to the leaks, we knew about most of it - And then what was new, doesn't really look all that great (that movie game).

The most interesting thing for me was the new Dashboard! (Y)

The Netflix announcement was pretty huge as well.

So Dashboard and Netflix for me!

I hope Sony don't go casual overkill tomorrow.

Okay, sorry guys I stopped with the updates, but it just starting getting super casual heavy.

MS obviously is going for the kill here, and they just might have achieved their goal.

Whilst some of the changes I'm very much looking forward to, they haven't really got my attention with any 'hardcore' games. I don't think they have killed anything.

Same here, i bet we would have at least another one if Rare wasnt doing the work on the Wii im sorry, 360 avatars... :( Way to waste an excellent development team

I don't mind that, I just wish Microsoft wouldn't have simply tried to simply do things to reach all the markets 360 isn't reaching as well and at least throw us hardcore gamers a bone, as casual gamers aren't going to really be watching E3 as much.

Read his comment again.

Larry is talking about going in for the kill on the casual side.

They sure based a lot of their presentation around casual elements/games.

Exactly, that is what I meant.

Final Fantasy XIII Announced.

HUGE news that.

Sony better have something to hit back with, that's a big blow.

I wonder if Versus has gone multiplatform as well?

Sony better get Square working on that FF7 remake, and make it exclusive :pinch:

ps. I wonder if any timed-exclusiveness will still be involved?

WOO HOO Final Fantasy!!!

hehe I'm not suprised but. I expecyed it five minutes earlier when the Square Enix guy originally walked out and have been thinking it was likely from the time they ported Final Fantasy 11. Still big news.

    • Ridiculous claim that the labor cost difference of $6000 annually would increase cost per phone by $200. The employees produce 3 phones per month or what?

    • Never used the G7 Pro, but I've never had a good experience with that style of d-pad and fighting games.
    • And I just bought a seat cushion for my mesh chair. The chair feels nice but the first time I sat in it with boxers, I realized I don't like the feel of mesh on my legs. 😂
