Killzone 2

Jeremy, he's right but, there is no real discussion to be had here.

Things are the way they are, not one discussion or one voice can change em.

You'll literally make your finger tips bleed from going around in circles trying to discuss and/or get to the bottom of what causes some people to act like they do online.

Immaturity and anonymity are my two guesses.... and some people just like to stir up **** storms.

Just gotta live with it, it's not going anywhere and has only been made worse this generation as competition is much more effective than it's been the last few generations. Which ironically is a plus, not a negative like it's made out to be by many.

The key to survival is knowing when not to get involved, something even the decent amongst us have to find out the hard way sometimes.

Here's a good multiplayer interview that was done in December, but it's not been posted here I don't think - http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/296080.html

The badge system and tournament/clan integration sound awesome (Y) I like dynamic game modes as well, R2 kind of does that during a game.

I also love having classes, but that's primarily because TF2 is my favourite online game :)

8 maps, 5 game modes I think it was, up to 32 players and fully customizable games (friendly fire, specific guns only, specific game mode only, ect).

^

Which I'll suck at

One thing that is gonna make it harder for us noobs though is there's absolutely no auto-aim assist at all, not even a little for up close quarters. I'm sure some of you will be happy at that though!

Best news all year! ( See what I did thar' ? )

Still not sure about the class thing, I really loathe games like TF2 and hope the classes won't ruin the experience too much for me.

Cmon dude, the video says you can play as a sniper medic?!! LOL

It adds a bit of depth to the game, but it does mean you might end with with a load of noobs in your team all picking sniper or something. Cause it's a well known online fact that sniper = bad azz!!11

Hope there's rules to add class caps so that the specialized classes like sniper/medic don't become over populated. I like playing medic but, helping my team mates survive makes up for my crappy aiming/kill ratio

While funny, it can be a pain in the ass in TF2 when your whole team goes 1 or 2 classes.

I've been looking forward to a PS3 multiplayer game I can get stuck into and Killzone 2 looks to be it. I really like the sound of the badge system, and using the SixAxis for sniper aiming too. This game might finally encourage me to get a headset! We'll definitely need to form a Neowin clan once it's released. :D

You don't actually aim with sixaxis, you aim with the stick as normal.

All sixaxis can do is tilt/pivot the rifle aiming reticule a little - Guys on 1UP said it's useful for correcting your aim if you over-estimate with a quick movement shot, or are wanting pinpoint precision.

Nice, I thought it was something like that!

I like seeing SixAxis put to use in games, it's quite an underrated feature imo.

Killzone 2 features cave spiders but no Helghan attack dogs?

To this day, it is still unknown whether or not the Helghan attack dogs from Killzone: Liberation will make a comeback in Killzone 2. However, we can reveal that one organic players will be facing off against is the giant spider.

In a recent gameplay video, there is a three second blip where the player encounters these creatures within a tunnel. As the player approaches the tunnel, these oversized arachnids scuttle across a stack of boxes and move to attack the squad.

Check out some screen-captures below, and stay tuned for the full video shortly.

    • RevPDF 4.5.0 by Razvan Serea RevPDF is a free, fully offline PDF editor for Windows, macOS, and Linux that lets you edit text and images directly inside PDF files — no internet connection, no account, and no cloud uploads required. Unlike bloated alternatives that demand subscriptions and constant connectivity, RevPDF fits in under 60MB on desktop while delivering a complete editing toolkit: annotate, redact, sign, compress, split, merge, convert, and reorganize pages, all processed locally on your device. Smart font matching ensures edited text blends seamlessly with the original, and multi-language support includes RTL scripts such as Arabic and Hebrew. Where most PDF editors force you to choose between features and simplicity, RevPDF manages both. You can build interactive forms from scratch with text fields, checkboxes, and dropdowns, permanently redact sensitive data before sharing, draw freehand on contracts and diagrams, and add custom watermarks — all without a single file leaving your machine. Edit Text and Images Directly Inside PDFs RevPDF supports true inline PDF editing — not just annotation layers on top of a document, but actual modification of existing text and images within the file. A smart font-matching engine identifies the font used in the original document and applies it automatically when you make edits, so changes blend naturally with the surrounding content. You can reposition elements, resize images, and update text across single pages or entire documents. RevPDF 4.5.0 release notes: This is one of the biggest updates to RevPDF yet. A lot of things people have been asking for are finally here. New Features Auto Redaction Permanently redact sensitive text and areas from your PDFs before sharing. Clean, irreversible, and fully offline. Comments, Links & Bookmarks Add comments for review, insert clickable links, and create bookmarks to jump around long documents without scrolling forever. Find & Replace Search across the whole document and replace text in one go. Long overdue. Split Pages Vertically or Horizontally Split any page down the middle, vertically or horizontally. Perfect for scanned books or double-page spreads. New Drawing Tools More tools for freehand drawing and markup, better for annotations, sketches, and detailed notes. Continuous Scrolling in Editor The editor now scrolls continuously through pages instead of jumping between them. Working through long documents is a lot smoother now. PDF Metadata Editor View and edit the metadata stored inside your PDFs, including title, author, subject, and keywords. Better Font Matching Text edits now blend in more naturally by doing a better job of matching the original font. Tabbed PDF Viewer Open multiple PDFs at once in tabs and switch between them without going back to the home screen. Add Links Insert hyperlinks anywhere in your PDF, to external URLs or to other pages within the document. Share & Print Shortcuts Share or print directly from the editing screen, home screen, and viewer. No extra steps. Minor Updates Paste images directly from clipboard into your PDF New image editing tools for more control over images inside documents Bug Fixes Fixed file saving issues on Windows and Linux Everything still works fully offline. No login, no cloud, no account. Your files stay on your device.
