Killzone 2

By the way, if you're feeling lucky you can register on the OMPHD website for a chance to win KZ2 - http://www.opmhd.co.uk/

OPMHD is the European equivalent of Qore starting this year at somepoint (I'm guessing pre-KZ launch).

If any of you editorial duders are reading this thread, SCEA sent out instructions for getting our builds online. It's a complete ghost town right now, though, and I'm dying to play, so check your e-mail, throw in those settings and get online! It's pew-pew time!

I wanna play online

By the way, here's the ever exciting back of the box shot

KZ2 media running dry!

What happened to the logo in the OP? :/

LOL NeoGAF happened - http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=342018

Dude who made that thread got banned for something I think, edited the image to message people of the thread.

I gotta make a proper official topic anyway, this one is a **** storm of random crap posted everywhere - Pre-Official Topic rules days :p

hey AB . that neogaf thread is huge, what actually happened? the wollan thing? can you sum it up in brief ?

What?

LOL, I dunno.

I think the guy done something in another thread and got a suspension till March. He makes a lot of official topics (and was going to make the proper KZ2 one), so the image changing was him asking some other guy to make the official topic instead because he won't be able to do it now.

The NeoGAF thread is just huge because of the amount of people who use that forum.

Shame about the voice acting and lack of co-op, especially on a game so polished.

I think Michael is gonna be pretty disappointed with the amount of bullets it takes to down the higs lol. At least he has S&D mode, its just not HC :p

I really doubt we'll see a full co-op DLC patch if it's not already somewhat underlying in the game. It's not as if there is local co-op to begin with..

haven't really followed this game, but got a ps3 last week so read up on this and watched all trailers and gameplay footage, my hype-meter went from zero to over 9000 in 2 seconds after watching the first trailer (not the cgi crap, saw that 3 years ago). DO WANT.

In regards to Co-Op you do have buddies with you fairly often, 1UP said it would be pretty easily fitted with Co-Op.

Which leads me to believe

a) They didn't have enough time to implement and will do with DLC.

or

b) Technically Co-Op just ain't possible without graphical sacrifice.

or

c) Co-Op just doesn't fit well in the game.

You know, some games do feel like their Co-Op is just hacked in for the sake of it. COD4 is a good example of a good SP campaign.

If you watch the MP beta videos, people drop like flies

Pre-release Euro Killzone 2 demo likely

Sony has told Eurogamer that it will release a European demo of Killzone 2 through PlayStation Network, but cannot confirm exactly when, or what will be included in the demo.

However, a source close to the publisher told us that if it clears QA in time, the demo will almost certainly be released in Europe before the game.

That's in contrast to the US, where the demo is subject to an exclusivity agreement that means consumers will only be able to get hold of it before release by pre-ordering from GameStop.

A spokesperson for Sony America confirmed that to PS3Fanboy overnight, adding that the demo will appear on PSN there after launch.

Killzone 2 is due out in February, but Sony has yet to confirm an exact release date. Check out our Killzone 2 gamepage for our latest hands-on previews, trailers, screenshots and more.

And look out for our Killzone 2 review in the coming weeks.

Europe 1UPs USA for once? :p

Looks like you Americanos will need to be creating an EU PSN account ;)

I maybe wrong, and maybe the game is not on the same scale, but didnt Kameo add Co-Op via a patch?

So it maybe possible.

Yup, the patch also came a long time after the game. It's definitely not on the same scale of game either. Kameo only had certain missions on co-op, not the entire game.

I can't remember where I read it now, but when I was posting news last night/this morning I seen a headline that we won't see a public demo for KZ2 until after release..

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
