Killzone 2

Recommended Posts

I can't remember where I read it now, but when I was posting news last night/this morning I seen a headline that we won't see a public demo for KZ2 until after release..

Few posts above you :p

I normayyl am not a big fan of FPS games but this one had a different feeling about it .. I read a lot of bad reviews about it later on about poor AI and poorer graphics but screw that ... I have fun playing it and still do, The game play has something different about it, Not sure what is it but its got a different feeling to it .. The new version is looking good though, hope we get it here as soon as they release it not nine years later :D

After deciphering that I've come to the conclusion you started off talking about KZ1? Right? :p

Also as for release, this is coming on the 27th of Feb, not nine years later ;)

Have they been posted?

I actually dunno, this topic is a cluster ****.

I've read about the trophies before now, but I don't think I posted them so unless someone else did, I don't think so.

Well then, isn't it time you had a few bottles of Red Bull and created a brand-new, fantastic official Killzone 2 threads and let this die, pwetty pwease

I'll do it over the next few days :p

Maybe tonight, but I'm ****ing ill and tired today. Too much boozing over the past short while :(

hehe yeah I'm talking about Killzone one ... or I think I am because the one I have says only Killzone :D

The nine year later thing is not aimed at you, matter of fact its not aimed at anyone but the thing is I'm in Lebanon and I'm dead tired with games taking forever to get here ... I recently went out looking for a Resident Evil game and the only one I could find was Outbreak , I came home only to realize that this's been around since 2002 or something ... The sad part is the guy told me this is the latest game he got :D ... I realize its not the game manufacturers problem and its probably the way the market swings here because you see the latest in Sports games and FPS like COD and Metal Gear Solid but not stuff like GTA, for example the latest GTA I could find was Vice City Stories .... hehe , Hope Killzone 2 could make it in a year or so :D

Can we not just wait till the game comes out for once before having an official topic made?

This one is working fine, and a new one is likely to just get filled up with pages of crap before the game is even out, or at least wait till the week of release, then all the demo talk gets shoved in here and actual game stuff can be discussed when the full game is actually out.

Okay boss.

Not after it's out though, maybe a few days/week before ;)

Nice, seems the texture resolution got a bump (Y)

Maybe a little, but not much. Enough to sharpen a few things up.

I think the best improvement is tweaking the lighting engine.

The old shots are awfully dark/lifeless.

Not long to go :)

Yeah, lightning engine definitely also got an update, though the improved textures stood out for me.

I am genuinely excited about this game, can't wait to hop online and check out multiplayer (Y)

(new video incoming as well from a reviewer)

Video - http://www.zshare.net/video/5378653325521fce/

High quality (333mb), around 6 mins of footage I believe.

(warning: word is player absolutely sucks, but it's the first footage of newest builds)

Only watched around two minutes, the guy playing was starting to get on my nerves. Every time he tried to move his sight, he almost ended up doing a 360*

Really pleased to see they finally fixed that dithered smoke, like when the first boat-flying-thingy ( What are they called? ) crashes, the smoked look kinda low-res. Same with previous screenshots when they fired a rocket, you would have this weird, dithered smoke trailing it.

Though I am not happy about the weapon bobbing, think that would get annoying fast.

This topic is now closed to further replies.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
