Okay, has there actually been a confirmed release date for Europe? I keep seeing 27th February but not sure if that is confirmed?

It's the 25th for Europe, but will be the 27th for the UK due to the day games are released.

Killzone 2 gone gold

We have just received confirmation that Killzone 2 has gone gold for America, UK and Europe.

This means that Killzone 2 can finally hit the presses. With the European mainland release scheduled for February 25, we along with alot of gamers are hoping that it will hit the shelves in time for the official release date.

I'd be up for a clan I suppose, though if you guys were thinking of taking the clan multiplatform when you started it you should have pobably put a bit more thought into a name that is probably going to be far more popular on one platform. :p

If Kol and L3thalsab3r read this, you both have to get killzone 2 for more fun times. :D

It was never planned but we were open to the idea one day. With Killzone 2's clan features though it just makes sense to bring the clan to the PS3.

Insomniacs was chosen because it describes us as gamers, I mean, you and I are still on Neowin at 5pm. Its a perfect fit :p

Clearly deprived of sleep as it's AM :p

Will be up for joining the clan as soon as this game is out. Should be interesting to see how the who system works within the game. But nice to see the web stats as well to make things a bit easy.

I get paid on the 27th. Coincidence? I think not :)

Where exactly is it cheaper than ?32.99?

On Shop-To you can get it for ?31.99

http://www.shopto.net/page.php?page=dettag...mp;platform=PS3

Voucher ?1 off: shoptovoucher2

And with quidco another 4% off - http://www.quidco.com/shopto/

(although play has quidco as well - http://www.quidco.com/play-com/)

With them in comparison to play at least you're guaranteed fast delivery, most likely get it early.

Dang, so we need to rank up before we can create a clan :/ At least it's only 100 points, I'll get that in my first match hopefully

edit: please don't tell me you have to rank all the way to General before you can even play as Scout?

I have no idea where that list came from, it was just fan posted so I can't state it's credibility.

But I can confirm you DO need to unlock class badges - The 41 min interview confirmed that. People were playing as the scout in the MP beta, which didn't last that long I don't think? (couple of weeks)

Rumours go unlocking all the classes and leveling up doesn't take that long, it's all the medals and ribbons which are essentially "achievements" that take a much longer time to get.

Oh what, not happy about that :( Just gonna have to play this like **** and get it as quick as I can.

Try and attract the attention of the beta testers around here for answers :p

We had quite a few on NW I think.

beta testers say that they can unlock the scout badge in a week.. not too long i think

"beta testers say that they can unlock the scout badge in a week"

Question is, is "General" achievable in a week or is it just a bogus rank list. Because if you can reach general within a week, that's ****ing weak.
