There are only a few levels (either 5 or six cannot remember) took me approx. Half an hour to forty-five minutes to complete the whole bit of content. However For the $5.99 USD I thought it was worth it to be able to use Water in levels I created.

True. The water looks amazingly fun and a fun new way to refresh the game. Hope the community levels really take off with it!

Next I'd like to maybe see that 1st person mode Alex said was already possible with LBP in dev mode.

I'm sure it may be added to some extent, even if you could just include it at certain sections in levels. The objects are all 3D so I don't think they need to worry too much about the new Paper Mario effect where you flip things and it can look quite dull when it's not in 2D.

The cool thing about the water is in the physics of the world it is a real object so you can build paddle boats and stuff that push against the water for leverage to move. It is really cool the stuff you can do with it. Also you can use Water to put out fire on objects that are on fire. Which you can use as a story object.

I also found that if you use the paintenator and shoot into water the paint balls will just sit there in the water rather than explode like they do when they hit something.

Rather than create a new thread, I figured I'd rebump this one and say that I just picked this up.

Looking forward to playing it with people.

If you want to add me to your friends list on PSN, feel free to add Minifig81.

Me too, it's awesome aye :D

I've gotten so addicted to this I had to go out and pick up the PSP version.

Finally the used PSP I got two Christmas' ago will actually get some use instead of being a really nice paper weight.

It's actually a pretty good version on the PSP too (Y) Speaking of which I should start building up my garage on the PSP Gran Turismo ready for importing to GT5 :D

  • 3 weeks later...

I forgot to mention a few weeks ago I got my GF hooked on this :p

Tomorrow she's coming over and we're going to finish off the POTC pack :)

Are you talking about 100% all the levels?

I hope you have 2 spare controllers, I'm pretty sure there's a 4 player only bit on one of the levels, really need to get these bits done myself, lol,

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
