usually the caprica commercials dont show what it really is. The series seems to be good. At least thats what it seems after the pilot

yeah for one you wont see space battles or a galactica, its about the origins so the story will be darker and more people orientated.

how is bsg not darker and people orientated? sure it had its space battles, which were amazing in my opinion, but it was still an opera

At the beginning BSG was 50% epic space saga %50 people oriented. The focus kind of shifted away from the epic space battles as it went on but it was still a large element of the show.

I normally translate "more people oriented" as more soapy, which is definitely not what I want. I was hugely dissapointed with the BSG finale, but got pumped up again by The Plan. Still not sure if I want to get into Caprica.

I hope it will explain in more detail why the Cylons really hate human beings so much.

did you watch the pilot because what you saw there really sets up the series and what the series will be like, I don't think it will be soapy I just think it will be more based on why they were created.
