Hi all,

As you may have seen me post on various forums we are currently working to increase your download speeds when using the WAR patcher to get you in game as quickly as possible.

This is our current priority and we'll let you know once the update has been completed. Thanks for your patience as we work to improve your playing experience.

Have fun!

i have no idea i suppose the key from link is something to do with fileplanet which is the us version?

Im not downloading another 9gb is there a way to convert it to the eu version?

Already had enough of this game and i havent even played it yet!

Convert eu client to us and back: files.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The files relating to patching seem to be patch.cfg, patch.html, patch.myp, patch_user.xml, patchui_win.dll, warpatch.bin and warpatch.exe. Of these some are probably identical between us and eu versions. I have included all to be on the safe side. Patch.cfg contains the region specific patcher url. You can search for the ob files in the form of compressed gamedirectory files. This way us players with no us ob access can use one of the many free eu ob keys and use their pre-loaded us client to play on eu while eu players can, after the us release, buy a us cd key from webshops and instantly play us version without waiting for any us retail box to arrive. File containing us and eu patchfiles, 4MB http://anonym.to/?http://w16.easy-sh...691435685.html.

Just found that but the link is dead would some kind person please upload those files from the us version? I can upload the eu ones if anyone wants them

Got started playing yesterday about 9am eastern, after finally managing to login and get patched.Haven't really run into a lot of issues at all. There is some targeting issues at certain times where it doesn't let you attack a target, but it doesn't attack you either so its no that bad. You can expect to see some of the Destruction classes get nerfed a bit, probably in the first patch. Some of them are way over powered. Realm vs Realm is great though. You can rvr either by playing scenarios or through taking the actual areas. We created a guild early yesterday, no issues with that, all you need is 6 people in a party and you can make your guild. 50 silver too, I think. We have a few rank 11's, and about 10 rank 6-8's and noone has found any major bugs in any of the Order classes yet. All in all, its a kick ass game. The only bad thing we have found so far is that your friends list is limited to 5 people.

Nice shots there, I was going to post some, might do that later. Yea I basically had and having the same experience with the game. The only real issue is teh targeting system, not being able to attack the people, but its like 1 out of 6 attacks, at least for me. That will be fixed very fast. Yea from what I see many types of characters on the destruction side will get nerfed, but that is normal. Also at least yesterday, the Order had many more people playing it then disorder, like 1:4 or something, not sure, it was crazy. I am rank 5 at the moment, which is the first rank where you can start doing PVP type stuff. RvR is awesome yes, many options and things to do, loving it! I didn't know about the friends list issue since I wasn't adding people since I thought nothing gets carried over on release day.

Anyways, some screenshots should be coming soon, overall, awesome game!

Well, we got our guild together and went and took over Tier 1 of The Blighted Isle. Probably tomorrow will go out and take back Tier 1 and try to take Tier 2 as well. I don't think we will have time to lvl enough in the beta to go for 3 and 4 though =/ Sadly I will miss the first week or so because I have to wait for my copy of the game to be sent to me.

Yea I have to fight my way on the 18th in future shop to get the game, unless I am lucky and no one cares about Warhammer in Ottawa lol Yet, I probably won't be able to play on release day or the next couple since so many people will be trying to load into the game, which is why the beta sucks. If we could keep are characters, then we can not play and wait out the millions of people trying, and then start playing afterwords, but no.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
