Lost - Season 5

Alan Dale "got sick" of watching 'Lost'

Alan Dale has admitted that he "got sick" of following his show Lost because he felt the third season was too repetitive.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Dale explained: "I got sick of [following] it. It went through a lull in scripts in the third season.

"At that point I felt like I had watched them wandering in a line through the forests a bit sweaty for the 1,000th time."

Dale, who plays Charles Widmore, added: "I thought 'I can't watch this anymore'. Then out of the bushes came a black cloud, which grabbed a black man and threw him to the ground, and I thought 'I definitely can't watch this anymore'."

:o

What does everyone really dislike about season 3 so much? That's the season where you learn most about the others :/

Season 1 - the crash & surviving

Season 2 - pushing the button & the tail section

Season 3 - the others and their home

Season 4 - the introduction of the freight & flash forwards

Season 1 and 2 introduce a lot of the mysteries which are pretty much answered in season 3, whereas 4 introduces more questions again. That's how I see it anyway.

Well... I haven't exactly been following this thread as much as I probably should, but I just scanned through it... And well, I didn't see anything about this. I haven't seen any commercials, either. Is Season 5 starting soon [fall season], or is it coming in the Winter or something?

It's a long wait as Richard Hammond said its Feb so I would get into watching other shows to pass the time (not 90210 tho thats crap!)

(not 90210 tho thats crap!)

 I didin't even have to watch more than the commercials to figure that one out!

Hopefully Fringe is as good as it's cracked out to be. That, and I can't wait for House to come back. I think I'll be able to keep myself occupied until Lost airs again.

Will Abrams Direct Lost Again?

Lost is currently filming its fifth season, but this time next year they will in the midst of making their sixth and final season. At the recent premiere for his new series Fringe, Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams was asked by EW.com's Michael Ausiello if he'd be interested in returning to direct the series finale, which will air in 2010.

It's no secret that Abrams ? who directed Lost's excellent pilot -- hasn't been very involved in the series for years, and poised the question about the finale, he tells Ausiello, "I would love to do it." However, Abrams then brought up the most frequent director of the series, Jack Bender, remarking "He's done episodes that are far better than the pilot. He's amazing. He's literally been living in Hawaii, directing the show, producing it. I would never want to come in and take away from him what will be the climax of the series, if he's there for the last year."

That being said, Abrams

Thanks to my contact "twilight", we can confirm that Sterling Beaumon, who played young Ben in "The Man Behind the Curtain", will be reprising his role again in Season 5. No details yet as to which episode he will be appearing in. I assume this also mean that we will get to see Annie again during this episode/flashback.

Not really a spoiler as it doesn't reveal alot but still casting news is quite cool!

Details on Desmond, Penny and Ben

1) There are no flashbacks or flashforwards, and it is very linear like a normal television episode.

2) Desmond and Penny have been flying under the radar for awhile and they're having a kid.

3) They move around every few months and in this episode they are in a city named Mati.

4) Ben is hot on their trail.

5) Ben Tortures someone from the Widmore Group

6) We find out that there are a handful of Dharma stations located throughout the world. They are not just on the island.

I like the sound of number 6!

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
