Theres sex scenes in the very first episode. As for the dont like it dont watch it statements. Why name it stargate if your not gonna stick to the same fanbase, Name it something else there was very minimal sex inclusion in the previous two series. The very first episode of this had 2-3 sex scene flash backs.

i dont think many stargate fans were AGAINST it, and the soldiers hot shush

i like the darker direction, itll scare away a few carebears and attract ppl who want something more exciting

I think the people complaining should loosen up and relax. Why should they cater the show for YOU, just because your a fan of a previous show does by no means entitle you to dictate how a new show is produced and directed.

Personally speaking I am enjoying SG-U, it's more of an adults show, and while it is cliche to sci-fi shows in many aspects, it's something new on TV.

I liked the 3rd episode. I didn't think it fell off like they predicted. It was calmer than before but that was expected. I'm still satisfied.

What I loved the most was the soundtrack when Eli was asked to hold his hand in the puddle. I really like how they managed to create tension in that scene, and the music was the key for me. Anyone know where that music was from btw?

me too, but they need to get rid of Eli, and that will not happen anytime soon :(
It seems they created his character to be "hated" at first. Not very strange seeing he is a ignorant nerd. Just wait, the character will evolve and grow on you eventually. This goes for most of the characters in this show.
Did they mention anything about water rationing on the ship though ? wasn't that just out on the dessert ?

when Dr. Rush came back from the planet and asked for water and random black shirt tech #2 lol gave him his water.....Rush drunk it all up and then the guy said well there goes my water rations for the day. So it extended to the ship, which makes sense because the only water they brought was whatever they have in crates.

water is probably the least of their worries though.

unless the ship was designed by morons (by now I'm no longer sure the ancients wheren't) it would recycle the water. on top of that they'll be regularly dropping off ftl, when they tell the ship they need something... like say... water... and the ship dials a planet with ... water... food would be a much bigger concern, since provided the shop does drop them off on a planet with food (wich to start with would be a lot more rare than water) it needs to be food eatable by humans, and as Atlantis kind of briefly mentioned, with the correct nutrients for humans(or wait maybe that was BSG) even if they did bring nutrient pills, that wouldn't be a huge supply.

They did mention it.

When one of them got back through the Gate, one of the people on the ship gave him a bottle of water and then said "There goes my ration for today".

I like how they are trying to ration their water but there's still time for a sexy shower scene.

did i miss an episode or something where the hell is the 'sexy shower scene', i don't recall it.

i've skimmed through the eps so far and can't find it...

I am a big fan of stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. This series however ****es me off to much sex / sexual activity in it. Get this **** off my tv. Either someone stops all this **** or the series will fail.

kinda an off shoot from the above answer.. there was only one, at the start, in a store cupboard.. confused

if that counts as a lot, jesus... sheltered much? ;)

anything like pictures or promo videos are public domain so they aren't spoilers if I said Rush is dead then yeah that's a spoiler but lets not get into spoiler chat that happened once in Heroes thread and became a flame fest

^ I didn't know she did. And I'm not spoiled now that I do ;) I knew there was some infamous lesbian scene. But she gets it on? Bonus points if she uses the stones to do it. Awww yeee

The creators hinted that the other person doing the deed with Ming Na may be disabled and using the communication stones to inhabit a fully abled body. ;)

I want her to do it with one of the chicks on that magazine cover!

Wow that sounds so sleazy lol

Awesome :D Although, isn't that technically rape since they'd be unaware of it lol

yes, yes it does. But it also sounds like higher ratings.

I don't know if they'll address the fact that they body's being raped but not the mind.

Depends if they still do it. They hinted that it would go down like that but who knows if it'll actually stay that way or be changed.

    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistakeβ€”ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the β€œnuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
    • Microsoft: Windows 11 could finally solve a major issue across AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs by Sayan Sen While Microsoft has been trying to improve it, Windows 11 is definitely not flawless, as even today some issues are taking a year to publicly acknowledge. However, one area of trouble that may finally see much better results soon is graphics driver crashes. Work on graphics driver timeouts, also called Timeout and Detection Recovery (TDR), is not new as the latest WDDM 3.2 also has specific improvements regarding it. Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) version 3.2 is supported on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, with the upcoming version 26H2, TDR crash diagnosis could go to the next level as Microsoft is introducing a new DirectX 12 API feature called "DirectX Dump Files". Similar to how system memory dump files work when a system crashes or freezes or encounters any such major issue, DirectX Dump Files (DDF) will essentially record a snapshot of the GPU execution right at the moment a graphics-related crash or hang or freeze occurs, so that developers can better understand and diagnoze these TDR and timeout detection errors. The dump will be available as a .dxdmp file for analysis and it will be a comprehensive dump file generated with detailed insights about the hardware, drivers, Windows, as well as the affected application. This should be another welcome change in this department. Earlier at GDC 2026, when the technology was first debuted, Microsoft had shared more details regarding it. The company had explained how DDF is designed to gather data from every layer of the graphics stack into a single file, eliminating the need for developers to manually correlate logs from multiple tools. As mentioned above, the dump can contain a lot of useful details like GPU hardware state information such as register values, shader program counters, page fault virtual addresses, shader memory data, and command buffers. Alongside that, it also captures DirectX runtime and kernel information, including D3D objects, pipeline state objects, device error data, adapter details, and CPU call stacks. Microsoft says the feature has been built around two primary use cases: retail device removals and local device removals. The former allows developers to collect crash information from end users' systems in the field, while the latter helps QA teams and developers investigate issues on test machines. Developers will also be able to include up to 2 MB of custom application data through new D3D12 APIs, providing additional context for troubleshooting. In addition, Microsoft is introducing three dump collection modes ranging from zero-overhead capture, which has no runtime performance impact on supported hardware, to higher-detail modes that collect more vendor-specific debugging data. On compatible Tier 2 hardware, zero-overhead dumps will be enabled by default, meaning developers may begin receiving useful crash diagnostics without making any code changes. The table below explains the three tiers: Tier Description NO_OVERHEAD Enables crash capture with no runtime cost and is suitable for broad deployment MEDIUM_OVERHEAD Provides a balance, capturing additional diagnostic data with moderate impact HIGH_OVERHEAD Collects the most detailed GPU and driver state available, enabling deeper investigation at the cost of higher runtime overhead In terms of availability, the company expects broader release to be around the fall of 2026, which should be right around the time when Windows 11 version 26H2 lands. Right now, DirectX Dump Files are available as a preview and currently, only AMD has the compatible AgilitySDK Developer Preview driver version 26.10.07.02. You can find the official announcement post here on Microsoft's website.
