Zune Client software 3.0

Tagging is split in two places. You edit track properties in track list and album properties by right-click on album itself. It's not full featured but basics are covered pretty well.

Thanks for pointing that out. Unless I'm mistaken, both areas allow you to edit the same information?

Ok, my Zune 80 player is updated to v3.0. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get to the Marketplace from the device. It isn't even an option on the menu screen like I see in pictures and videos. I'm connected to a wireless hotspot, and when I goto the "about" screen on the device is says that it is indeed v3. Can someone help this n00b?

The new Now Playing is pretty cool, though i don't think it will stop using WinAmp.

For some artist it displays some cool album art/band photos. Here is what it is doing now while playing Smashing Pumpkins. LOL some of these photos of Billy Corgan are awful. I think the software downloads them off the marketplace or something.

As for Winamp, meh. I have it installed, but haven't used it as my main music player for years. The media library feels too much like a separate program all together and a much less integrated experience with any media player. The update nag screens are annoying too.

My only problem is Last.fm support. :\

It's one of my problems as well. The only way to scrobble songs from the Zune itself is Zenses, but even that doesn't work all the time. :(

I also wished they brought back the classic 5-star rating system. I can't stand the Love/Hate one.

I'm loving the 14 day Zune Pass trial that launched with this. I don't know if I can afford another $15 a month to keep the subscription though, but it'll be useful when hosting parties, and I should be able to make a month's subscription back from revenue, so to speak, when hosting.

BTW, guys, I've a quick question. Is there any way of fooling the Zune site to think I'm American? I can't sign into my Zune account because I have to view the updated T&C's , but every time I go on it, I get the "Sorry, this is no available in your region" message.

BTW (again), 2500th post! :D

Hmm.. I'm in Belgium, and I registered my account as an american right when Zune 1 launched, I could view the new T&C's...

Oh whatever, I love the player  and it has the song link integration with Messenger 2009 ^^ Moving snowy wallpaper, the new background with the pixely things in Zune, Windows Live Wave 3 make my pc look uber stylish now ^^

I really don't get this. You think to yourself, I feel like playing a 4 star song instead of a 1,2,3 or 5. At least with the Heart you get love it or so so which is pretty much what most albums are like.

LoL! No joke. Whats the difference between a 4-star song vs a 5-star song? I can see rating albums that way, but you either like a song or you don't.

I'm loving the new v3 Windows software, and Zune firmware. The browseable marketplace from the PMP is awesome.

Can anyone else vouch for the speed increase on the device itself? I have about 6000 songs and before v3.0 came out (v2.5) it was a little slow and choppy, but it's fast now.

I think the firmware did wonders..my device is really fast, responsive, barely any delay when changing and the audiobooks is a plus. Overall very well job.

I still can't get the Artist specfic wallpaper to show up. Any idea?

I didn't really notice a speed increase. Although, there is a faster way to start playing tracks. Clear your Now Playing list, then add a track to the Now Playing list. It plays instantly! :)

I don't really think the firmware did wonders. I've experienced freezing issues now, and I never did before. Sometimes when looking about to play a new song, it freezes up. Luckily, it's not serious. I can still reboot (Back + Up) or turn it off (Back + Down) and it works fine after that. Until it freezes again! :D

Mine froze 3 times in less than 2 days! :D

Hey, can't you use the reset function on your Zune (Back + Up for 3 seconds)?

Yeah, I actually had one yesterday at the gym and started freaking out till I realized that pushing back and down fixed it.

I never had a freeze before but this time it froze while something was already playing and I tried playing something else. I think the software is nice as hell, but why can't we adjust some of the panes? Annoying.

It's probably some new bug, but if it starts hitting a lot of people they will have to update the firmware...I just hope it doesn't freeze during continuous playback..that would suck.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.

LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. LibreWolf features: Latest Firefox — LibreWolf is compiled directly from the latest build of Firefox Stable. You will have the the latest features, and security updates. Strip tracking elements from URLs, both natively and through uBO. Enable dFPI, also known as Total Cookie Protection. Enable RFP which is part of the Tor Uplift project. RFP is considered the best in class anti-fingerprinting solution, and its goal is to make users look the same and cover as many metrics as possible, in an effort to block fingerprinting techniques. Always display user language as en-US to websites, in order to protect the language used in the browser and in the OS. Disable WebGL, as it is a strong fingerprinting vector. Prevent access to the location services of the OS, and use Mozilla's location API instead of Google's API. • hahahahah wow hahahah you sure got me there hahahahahah, you know that bad performance is always due to poor optimization by the developers, right???
    • "I know for a fact I'll never own one of these." This is why choice is better than government regulation. Globaly Android has something like 72% of the smartphone market. Granted the vast majority of that is low end phones. Apple can and should charge whatever they want. The market will decide if it is too much.
