 Wow, that ended pretty quickly. It definitely looks like it ended, as I just tried it myself to see if it still worked. Thank god I pre-ordered GT5 yesterday! :p

Gits, that did end quickly! Hopefully they put up another one soon enough though, I want to save some pennies! :p

I wouldn't get your hopes up, as this one turned up about a month after the ?10 ended.

Oh did it? Seemed much shorter than that. Never mind eh!

I'll stick with my ShopTo pre-orders then (might cancel and re-do them via txt to get an extra ?1 in the account).

In case people are looking for the cheapest PS3 deals around here are a selection of the current deals.

Nice to see retailers undercut the RRP, ?20 is fairly generous.

Wonder if it will ever get near ?199 in retail... I might bite at that price.

My mate is manager at blockbuster and they are going to be giving away retail copies of arkham asylum with their ps3 slims at ?250 in store only at blockbuster this tuesday.

I know it should have gone in the deals section but figured this to be such a good deal anyone in UK would want to know about it.

Enjoy. Ohh they also do ?260 plus ANY game but thats pants if you ask me. You can just return arkham asylum for infamous or something straight swap, which I'm going to do as Ive already completed arkham asylum on 360 and must say its the greatest f'n game this year!

Its just the fact that I acknowledged that thread in my post. He didn't contribute anything at all to my thread you know. Its just going to cause arguements, the real mod may aswell just lock this now before it gets out of hand.

I thought it was a pretty ice cold deal and a lot of people might benefit from it.

I originally ordered my console ?250 online with nothing. I've since cancelled to pick up this baby on tuesday.

I think you're overreacting a little. As for whatLivin in a box >said, there's no rule stating that you have to post any deals pertaining to the PS3 or PS3 games in that thread. Heck, it may even be better to create a new topic about it. That way, people can find it easily rather than having it get lost in the sea of posts within the deal thread. Anyway, let's just forget about it.

I think it's a great deal. It's better than buying a PS3 with no game(s) at all. And according to my brothers,Batman: Arkham Asylum >is an amazing game. We managed to get a copy while it was on sale for 56% of the suggested retail price.

I think the PS3 has exclusive Joker DLC, so maybe you want to keep it for PS3 and sell the 360 version?

Yes, it does have the Joker as a downloadable character; however, you can only play as him in challenge maps. Plus, he beat the game already. He might as well get inFAMOUS.

I was going to add something constructive in my post, but I pressed the post button too early. No need to get mad over it TBH.

It's a pretty good deal; I've played a bit of the demo, and it was OK.

Does the world trust ShopTo again yet? I'm not sure what to think. But then again I've heard of people getting stung via a leak at Play.com so it seems that nowhere is safe anymore. :/

I'm pretty bitter over getting done for fraud, but to be honest these sorts of things will rarely happen twice and I will most likely use ShopTo again. When they have a good price you cannot beat free next day delivery compared to the slow ass speeds of Play/Asda/The Hut and all the others.

Plus if you're wanting a Slim they're by far the best deal at ?230.

If you don't trust ShopTo, slim for ?229.99 here

Although to be honest the deals at ?250 with a free game/movie are probably better value for money.

    • A different thing with Russia. When you say is it better, depends on things. It is better that we don't have the E.U making rules and laws that have nothing to do with them. Is the trading part better? No, that is really mucked up, but then we knew that was going to happen and we would have make agreements, like we do with other parts of the world. Freedom of movement is certainly better, but could be improved, we still need more control over our borders. do you live in the U.K?
    • So what am I quoting from them? I never listened to what Farage or his cronies said. I wanted the U.K to leave the E.u years before the referendum and it had nothing to do with Farage and his cronies. So what country do you live in? Did we work much better together? We were always at logger heads with the E.U because we disagreed with them so much. Maggie was always on at them. I would have thought the E.U was glad to get rid of us as we stopped the integration or made it a two tier. Now without us they can integrate more. I would not have voted out if it was just a trading block and we can still work together on somethings.

    • Apple reportedly looks to blacklisted Chinese memory chips as RAM prices climb by Karthik Mudaliar Image via Apple Apple is reportedly trying to get a clearance from the Trump administration to buy memory from ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) to get some relief from soaring DRAM prices. As per a report by the Financial Times, Apple approached the Commerce Department more than a month ago and also spoke to other officials and allies in Washington. For starters, CXMT is a company that's already been placed on the Pentagon's list of Chinese military companies. The Chinese company is the country's top DRAM maker. For Apple, the timing is certainly awkward but not surprising. Tim Cook had recently warned that Apple would have to raise prices because AI companies are buying up large amounts of memory for data centers, and just like that, Apple raised MacBook and iPad prices. Micron also recently revealed that customers have committed billions of dollars to secure memory supply years in advance, which shows us how aggressive securing infrastructure has become. This gives suppliers such as Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron more leverage, while pushing hardware makers to look for alternatives. CXMT is one of those alternatives, but not the simplest one. Apple has spent many years trying to diversify parts of its supply chain away from China, especially for final assembly, while still depending heavily on Chinese manufacturing and suppliers. Even domestic brands from China are moving towards CXMT and YMTC instead of relying on Samsung, Micron, and SK Hynix. For Apple, though, it would invite more scrutiny than local Chinese companies. For now, this is more like a lobbying effort rather than a confirmed supply deal. There's no official statement from either of the parties. What is clearer, though, is the pressure behind such a request. AI demand has certainly made hardware a bottleneck, and companies are trying everything they can to bring things back to normal, even if that means making politically sensitive choices.
