[Official] Halo 3: ODST

Christ! A buddy and I have been playing co-op on Heroic and we decided to throw in the towel for the night. We either really really suck, or you guys are way above average.

We just go to the part where you fly the banshees and protect Romeo. We are both trying to really like this game, but there is just something about it. I will give Bungie credit though as they have really showcased the difference between humans and Master Chief. I didn't realize how powerful he really is (or maybe it was the regenerative health system?).

pretty sure i'm ready to give up on the legendary campaign...too much work. firefight seems to have more promise, so will try to do more of that. thanks for the tips slane.

Gae on legendary is so insanely hard...especially the 4th mission, longest mission ever it feels like. Great game, beat it today on Legendary.

Solo'd it on Heroic, the banshee mission isin't very difficult; just make sure to grab new banshees now and then and USE YOUR BANSHEE BOMBS LIKE CRAZY.

I am thinking about picking it up today, kinda on the fence about it though... I may trade in some old games towards it since gamestop is doing a 25% extra trade in credit for each game... Is the game worth the $60?

Has anyone not played campaign yet, and would like to have a go at it with me on co-op? I've been waiting for a good opportunity to play the campaign, and now would be a good time. :)

I will, GT is my name. Even though I beat it on Heroic it's different every time...

Damn, Need to really play firefight on this :(.

Anyone wanna partner up with me? :)

Hey Fusion, if you have the time tommorow.. can we go and take on Deja Vu? although we need 2 more people though.. anyone want to get the achievement?

Sure. Wanna get brainpan too? (requires disc 2)

<offtopic>Odd I just noticed that I've had a 20% warn since July... and I just noticed I've been here 4 years and this is my first warning lol.</offtopic>

If you want Sergeant Johnson you can drop him in to your hard drive, you need some way of connecting the hard 360?s drive to your computer such as the Microsoft Transfer Kit of Datel Xsata.

Here is the guide, worked perfectly for my friend.

I can just confirm this. Just tried it out and now I got the Johnson on my profile. Didn't use the transfer kit, just opened her up and plugged it straight into the computer (FYI it was already opened before)

hey unrealistic it's not that hard and you can do it, no doubt. it's not like you're new to FPS's. The only tough spot is near the end when there's a wave fight. didn't like that one, hate it when designers do it. They cook up these fancy games with great stories, rich characters, cool visuals and amazing music...then have moments when it boils down to all the sophistication of Galaga.

As for whether it's worth $60...i'd say yes, but begrudgingly so. The SP is great but too short, the MP is great..but essentially the same as two years ago. I don't regret paying the admission price, but then i did it for more than just the game.

Depends if you like Halo enough.

I said previously it wasn't worth it but as I played throughout the campaign and got into firefight w/ some friends I completely changed my mind about it. If you don't have all the maps then it might an incentive for you; but overall it's one of those games to have(materialistically speaking). Everything about it is well made. There is some amount of replay value plus there should be more dlc in the future.

In your case I'd trade some old games to pay for it.

sure. I also want to try and get all the FF achievements on ODST aswell .lol. If you know where the skulls are for brainpan we can hit it up with Nestea. I am up so let me know. I got till 6pm EST tonight.

Played some Legendary last night with 3 other friends, and it felt like Halo again! I guess my friend's low interest in the game, compounded with us getting our asses kicked gave me a low moral for this game. It was quite fun. I have two levels to beat, but today is football day.

We'll have to do this after 8PM though... gotta go out >.<

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
