[Official] Anime/Manga Thread

Recommended Posts

It's on the Japanese Wikipedia with a title of "Part Bomber".

i would't take what google translate says for the real title but it's close to what iv seen

but bable fish on the other hand just makes me laugh like what it translates hymen to or what it used to translate it to.

There's a line where I draw on what type of manga I read. When manga becomes as trivial as computer repair, then I am stuck in recursion, which is a bad, bad thing.

You never know, it might be fun

lmao

I didn't even realize they had computer hardware in their hands until I stared at the picture for a few seconds :p

Or it could be Genshiken, a bunch of average people talking about their average lives while blaming their average status on their otakuism.

I kinda liked that show, but the last few eps weren't very good.. Weird voice acting with those "American" girls... lol

I really enjoyed it, captured the whole "otaku" atmosphere (Y) I've yet to find another anime that is similar.

Yeah I agree, I thought they conveyed that atmosphere very well.

Too bad it wasn't a bit longer, but still that voice acting at the end was terrible almost ruined it for me lol

Oh you definitely have to watch it from the start then

Genshiken, Genshiken OVA's and Genshiken 2.

ಠ_ಠ I wanted to strangle all the characters in Genshiken. Low self esteem losers accompanied by lame girls who are the definition of average. $%R$#%@%!

/personal opinion

I respect your opinion  (Y)

For me, I enjoyed the friendships within the group and the portrayal of the "otaku" culture.

Yeah me too, that's the way I took it.

Thanks for opening my eyes, I'll have to watch it from start to finish.

Man, I got so much good stuff to watch now :p

Might also be funny..

Quick question, does anybody know when Naruto anime is going to be back on the story arc?

I only managed to find episodes upto 4th March which is titled "Activate the Forbidden Jutsu" (episode number 150). My guess is arc might go on until around episode 155-160 :(

    • The post-installation disk footprint hasn't changed much. In version 0.99.1, it was 979 MB. Now, it is 959 MB. That's just 2%. Also, PowerToys fills the disk with logs like crazy. Just look inside "\AppData\Local\Microsoft\PowerToys".
    • Yeah, right! /s They've been saying that for two centuries now. Look up "China's final warning" on Wikipedia.
    • I have not verified if any of the fixes mentioned on the below article actually work. Why Claude Code Eats All Your RAM (And How to Fix It) There are at least four separate things that can eat your RAM, and only one of them is your fault. The Four Culprits 1. Bloated Session Logs (The Silent Killer). For 2-4 and more inluding the suggested fixes, see link https://marceloretana.com/blog...aude-code-eats-all-your-ram
    • One of my PC's is Windows 11 Home Edition... and guess what? it supports Hyper-V Disks and Containers, as well as WSL2... which these desktop tools leverage on an as-needed basis. It does not need to be enabled system-wide; it merely needs to exist. Furthermore, I tried something yesterday with Hermes Desktop and their "installer" actually builds everything from source as part of its installer toolchain! The installer (and updater as it were) both go through a roughly 19-step process to prep the system for the tool to be used -- and connectivity to local/remote models, local/remote agent configs, and other steps are not included as part of this process (those are all user config steps post-install). ALSO, the "bug wasn't confirmed to exist" is the weakest argument against a bug. That's literally every flawed product's knee-jerk reaction! Even politicians, lawmakers, murderers, and other violent criminals start with that defense... "I deny everything I'm accused of." The bug is the (shared) experience. Whether it's truly Claude Code's fault, or user error, or some other software package being the ultimate culprit, is not the point. They are experiencing unpleasant side effects and don't like that.
