Lin has strong determination in his favour, don't think he'll be dying any time soon (Y)

Indeed :D Was very noticable in the previous episode. The conversation between him and Greed was nicely done imo :)

That conversation was awesome. Greed finally showed weakness and Lin took over. The next episode will hopefully be intense. My friend watched the last episode with me, only have ever read the manga, and was amazed at how accurate it was. Almost every other scene he was like, " Dude, it was drawn like this. This is so amazing. They haven't changed a bit!"

You're more then welcome and I'm sure we'll have more recommendations. Like for instance: Freedom, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and Rideback :)

Also, regarding your question: check your PM ;)

Thanks again, much appreciated :D

What show are you talking about with that conversation?..

I downgraded Eve no Jikan to 8/10 after looking back at it. It's nothing special. The only redeeming factor about that anime series is its inclusion of Isaac Asimov's three robotic laws. Everything else is taken from True Tears and mixed with some silly drama.

^Those laws are also used in Meguriau Sekai which is made by the same director who made Eve no Jikan :)

@Radish?: WIN!

@shakey: BONES would be happy to hear that, haha :p

I wonder when a new, intelligent franchise comes out... There's nothing but pop culture, recursive parodies and fantasies. More world politics and action that are relevant to current times like Full Metal Panic! (Second Raid), Black Lagoon and others.

Have you watched Dennou Coil?

i don't see anything like that happening any time soon Japan seems to be making what ever sells best in Japan right now i don't think they even think of the export market much anymore.

Just for a post's sake, Code Geass and Death Note are not intelligent anime series. They focus too much on drama and terrible, predictable plot twists that remove the amazing potential they both had.

I'm struggling to go past the first episodes. It's incredibly hollow since the first few episodes is the chase of a silly virus characterized by fluffy bunny syndrome. I think I will be dropping it if I can't get past another few episodes soon when I have the interest.

'Tis a pity.

It does take a a while to open up but it's worth it IMO.

And I'll leave this here

i admit sunrise could have done better in R2 but as a fellow field commander i have the utmost respect for Lulu being able to take a small rebel movement and turn it into a full blown army.

I for one am enjoying the new season but it could do with another show like Hayate The Combat Butler or a new season of it.

And I'll leave this here

That thing better not be there when i go or else i shall turn it into light.

Lulu does not turn anything into anything. She... I mean he only exists as another Light, from Death Note. He is the glorification of teenage naiveity that is gobbled up by the 13-18 demographic. No one should respect any political or strategic action by any of the characters. It's popular in every anime series gears towards the "older teens". Sunrise merely turned Gundam into something of a spinoff. There's nothing special, unique or outstanding. The anime series is the epitome of looks without substance. It's such a pity that you see such high production values go into teenage drivel.

The beginning of Dennou Coil is a bit slow and I had a hard time with it too, but if you keep watching it the show picks up steam and I really liked it actually.

Code geass is less the gundam spin off and more Warhammer 40,000 century 1 the anim? with the birth of the God emperor.(basically it's what would happen if you tried to apply plot to warhammer40K)

but what you get with death note is nothing more than something to get the fangirls all wet and excited.

and just to pick at gundam. Gundam is just physicsles schi-fi at it's best legs and useless in space also most of the factions you see imn gundam anim? are usually Nazis or the UN and terrorists.

A heartfelt episode of Kimi no Todoke with Chizu-chan's feelings coming to a halt

Going back into the past with her childhood was hilarious though, "Tohru! Mushi!"

    • I literally tried to install it on my PC today and it crashed upon every start up. I tried all the tricks, terminate and remove cache, uninstall, reinstall, reboot, install via winget.. in the end I had my call with Brad Wardell on Google Meet. Oh I also tried Teams on the web, and got no video or audio (yes I allowed mic and camera).
    • Microsoft explains how it made Teams so much faster in 2026 by Usama Jawad Microsoft Teams is Redmond's flagship online communication and collaboration tool, primarily used in enterprise, government, and school environments. It regularly receives updates, with Microsoft frequently revealing features currently in development as well, such as Efficiency Mode and a dedicated app for meeting recaps. Now, the company has shed some light on the backend enhancements it has made to its popular software in 2026. During the first half of 2026, switching between chats has become 20% faster on desktop and web, which is especially great for less powerful devices or hardware on weak networks. Microsoft explains that it tracks two types of chat switches. The first is a warm switch, which relates to returning to a recent chat, in which case it is most likely already present in memory and should load extremely fast. The other is a cold switch where a chat that hasn't been opened recently is now opened. Naturally, the second type of chat switch was causing the most notable latency spikes. Microsoft realized that this was happening because of three reasons. First, the query to fetch conversation data was being fired too late. Next, queries were being sent sequentially, increasing the overall round-trip time. Finally, there was no handling of response priority, which meant that non-critical responses would sometimes block the main thread. Microsoft solved all of these problems by firing the data query immediately, bundling queries to be sent together so that they wouldn't create a "waterfall" effect, and enabling faster painting of the frame. As a result, warm and cold switches now have almost the same latency, and the only distinguishable difference between them is due to the data layer response time. Next, Microsoft focused on reducing app hangs and freezes on macOS and iOS by 35%. On macOS, the company has a health monitor thread running in the background that does exactly what it says on the tin. The tech firm built a dedicated StackDecoder tool to analyze health monitor's output at scale. Through this combination, it decided to move several error reporting and monitoring threads either to the background or treated them as an asynchronous call so that they wouldn't block the main thread, causing Teams to freeze. On iOS, the same result was accomplished through optimization of computations, caching, offloading operations from the main thread, refactoring database access behaviors, deferring non-critical tasks, and more. On a related note, it also made people search 25% on iOS by optimizing the query pipeline, and efficient database task queuing and scheduling. However, Microsoft has emphasized that improving Teams' performance is an ongoing endeavor, and that it hopes that these efforts will continue to make the software a reliable partner in online communication scenarios. On a related note, Microsoft recently unveiled some upcoming performance upgrades for OneDrive on macOS too, and you can check those out here.
