FANTASTIC: Windows 7 Build 6956 new boot screen video

And it runs on crap called Dell. :D

It's a XPS M1710 (MXG061), that's not really what you call "crap."

That animation looks pretty cool though. (Y)

I'm sorry, and I really don't mean to threadcrap, but why do you guys really care what a bootscreen looks like?

I reboot my box about every patch tuesday, and that's really it. It takes about 20 seconds.

Knives could stab me in the eyeballs that often and I wouldn't care.

Elegance? I don't get it, what does that have to do with the computer running the software you need and providing the functions and utility you need?

the purpose is to fuze both substance and style in a nice package.

This isn't the 90s you know. We have the processing power to advantage of such features.

Not every single computer owner in the world keeps their machine on 24/7.

umm you guys are easily pleased :p I mean come on it's a freakin' boot screen for crying out loud! There are more important things in an OS then a boot screen, unless you plan to install Win 7 on a very slow PC?
