Heroes Volume 4 : Fugitives

Recommended Posts

He's a hero. He doesn't want to leave anyone there. If he gets sucked out, he doesn't know if they will live the crash, or if he would even be able to maybe find them. Probably also not really thinking straight as to the plane crashing is pretty intense. Peter doesn't run man, you know this.

He doesn't know if they would live if he stays either. Hes not really in a position to help hanging on by a thread (literally).

Plus he could just follow the plane and help them.

As of right now, Peter is still learning his ability. How he figured out he needed to touch Mohinder had super strength and needed to touch his hand to absorb the power remains puzzling. Going back to when the season finale for volume 3 where the Peter flew Nathan out of the building, Petar just took jumped toward Nathan just to try to push them both out the window but then the flying ability was absorbed and kicked in immediately. Based on that, maybe Peter that is how he learned he had to touch Mohinder first. When he was fighting and touched Tracy, he was stunned at why he lost the superstrength and gained the freezing ability. So now, this sets the stage for Peter knowing he can only absorb one ability at a time. Teamwork is the main theme they are to shape since Peter will need to stay close to as many others with abilities. Who knows, maybe he just needs to learn the ability some more, or it seems more likely now that Ando's supercharging ability can give Peter the ability to have multiple powers temporarily. Speaking of Ando, he should be hunting down Hiro over the next few episodes.

makes sense though. This season will be interesting. A lot of new questions and events happening. Great start :)

How can he follow the plane if he can only have one ability at a time dude!?

You two were just arguing that he can have multiple abilities. I was going along with his train of thought. He was saying that the only way Peter could have hung on is if he had strength. If he still had strength then he still had flying.

ya lyle, thats what I was talking about. What was up with that? trip effect or horrible editing?

Horrible editing for sure. Looks like they took two shots with that, and pieced the words together to make it sound more interesting. Maybe a dialog change half way through?

Actually, Peter was hanging onto the chains under his own strength. When the chain broke lose, Mohinder grabbed onto him. The only way Peter will go out the plane at that point is if Mohinder lets go under his own will. But keep in mind now that Peter is holding onto Mohinder, he has his superstrength back again.

Regarding Peter flying out of the plane, the plane was already about only a 100feet or so above the ground just before impact. It won't be hard for Peter to find them at all if that happened.

Well I thought it was way too obvious to be an editing mistake. 1 time, maybe, but it happened several times. I think that it was done on purpose to highlight that he didn't really exist and that it was all in Parkman's head. Kind of like how he jumped around the first time Parkman saw him.

This story is to easy to figure out./ How much do you want to bet that the head soldier guy with grey hair will find out that nathan is one of them to and turn him in and take over rounding up the heroes

I think the President knows that Nathan has an ability. That's just me though.

The president should at least see it as a possibility as his brother has one and so does his daughter, but I'm not sure they knew about Claire. She just got caught by accident.

Exactly, it doesn't take a genius to figure out it runs in the family so to speak. :)

Yeah but he is probably using his political experience to round up the people with abilities, he's like a face that everyone will love.

I think its to early (being episode 1 and all) to establish it as fact that peter can only hold one power at a time! And if that was the fact, he was touching mohinder at the end so regardless of absorbing another power he would of reabsorbed it (super strenght). I think that peter may have been over whelmed with absorbing the ice power so that not everything he touches turns to ice. Aswell, I totally believe the idea that if those Metal Bracket clips where failing (which if they are to restrain cargo and are in a Military Plane that they are atleast 500 pound tested clips individually. So if they were failing then Super strength I think was being used to hold on (especially holding on with finger tips, have any of you ever tried to hold your body weight using 4 finger tips? only mountain climbers have a chance at being able to do that)

Also totally agree the writers are idiots with the whole cabin pressure not equalizing within 1 minute, Cabin pressure equalizes almost instantaniously after a hole is made.

Also, does anyone else see Sylar being the force that holds together this show? without him I think it would almost not be worth watching!

(My comment about cabin pressure I back up with watching discovery channel shows on plane crashes way to much)

I think Hiro probably wont get back his power, it really makes for a messy script the fact that changing the past is so easy and seeing the future.

Again quickly, yes there would be extreme winds going through the plane with a hole in it, but not enough to suspend someone in mid air for so long, or continue to "SUCK" things out for mulitiple minutes.

I enjoyed it! Something about the camera angles and pacing that reminded me of the first season, with the whole taxi scene with Peter and Mohinder. I'm glad its not all just pure action like chapter 3. It was also nice to see Sylar own all the guys who came after him.

In response to Rob... : Some say since he had ot inject himself, i think its to early to tell and it could be just because he was just awoken from being sedated.

and maybe its because its a better way of transfer when in a sedated state. We don't know forsure yet, though some people act as if we do.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
