Heroes Volume 4 : Fugitives

Recommended Posts

Okay... I'm trying again :( this could cause me to jump out my windows. trying 2 be carefull lol)

i just watched heroes for a full episode for the first time last monday... and watched all 3 seasons in less than a week. (I might have a problem lmao)

I absolutely loved it and am stoked for season 4.. I hope i can last 2 days ;) haha

Anyone already thinking sylar is going to survive that fire some how by having that glass come out or something! (lol just about dleted it all again :s)

Yes, Sylar will be back.

Anyone else find it kinda weird how mika and his cousins were not even in any episodes after his moms sister visted her funeral? I wonder what they will have to do with everything now.

Any guess, now who those people where in the back of that "Hercule's" army cargo plane? It's interesting how if only Peter hadn't saved his brother how much more at peace "Special" people would be.

Any ideas as to whether or not Hiro will get his powers back... ever?

I find it horribly bad writing wise that we haven't seen crap all from mica or his cousin this season really. I know monica (I think that was her name) shows up in volume 4 but come on. I happened to like mica and his power. Plus, they kill his mother and then show nothing about his life after? Bleh.

As for Hiro...this depends. If one of the main cast members does in fact not return next season, and it's Hiro's character....then no I don't think he will get his powers back. But, I just cannot see Hiro not being on the show. Hiro along with Peter are literally the face of the show, I think NBC would just park a truck load of money outside their place of residence to get them to come back :D

Didn't get to see a super bowl tie in trailer here in canada! :(

Totally agree on Hiro and Peter being the face of the show.... (Would have to throw Claire in as a huge face for the show aswell without a doubt in my mind).

Anyone else getting really ancy for the episode 2morrow? Cause it's really exciting me lol. Wish i had someone else to talk 2 about heroes, none of my roomies watch it lol.

Man, that Super Bowl ad was VERY creative!

I've been a critic of Heroes Ads, but whoever cameup with that Super Idea, Kudos to him/them!

I wonder if Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp, and John Elway are also Heroes fans?

Yeah it was really funny.

Let's hope with that ad, the viewership will Increase! 10x times :p

Unfortunately, 24 is also on.

24 need to move to 8pm or another day! It's going against Heroes, not good!

Uh, it was in that slot last time it was on too.

Besides, it was 24's slot first.

And I believe 24 won the ratings last time. If not, it will win this time, since Heroes ratings are so far down from S1.

Edit: Heroes outdrew 24 by an average of 1 rating point back in 2007. Heroes is down nearly 3 full points since then.

Yeah sadly 24 will massacre heroes in the ratings :(

I don't know about massacre, but it should win. I don't think, despite anything that happens, that heroes will get back to S1 ratings-wise.

Ah, I just thought of a huge point though.

24 has a huge advantage.

House.

24 lost my interest. Same 'ol running around with a fully charged cell phone and an unlimited supply of ammo. And all I remember about the show is Jack yelling at the top of his lungs with snot shooting from his nostrils and spit from his mouth. Heroes still has me right now but they need to kick it into high gear and move the story on to something else. It's like they are dragging their feet...

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
