Heroes Volume 4 : Fugitives

there was some crazy stuff in last nights episode. It was good though :)

Anyone else notice the part where the prophet was talking to Parkman where his staff was on his shoulders then by his side then shoulder then side again. I wouldn't have noticed it so much but they switched back and forth so many times that there was no mistaking it. They switched from Parkmans view where he had it by his side to the "stalker" view (camera looking in from outside the window) where he had it on his shoulders. They did that like 10 times and it was all in 1 scene!

I thought we knew all the originals were deceased except from Angela :s

Since when did Peter have to touch people to gain their abilites?

Since he lost his power and injected himself with the formula that he thought would give all his powers back, he only thought he had flight as a power and was suprised as you were to be getting powers by touching people and losing them as he gets someone elses power.

Yes

Yeah but we haven't met all of them and I think 1 is still alive, I can't remember.

According to that, Angela is the only one left.

really good episode last night.. Great start to the season...

But which Hero got flung out the airplane still strapped to the chair?

Someone who we don't know and will never know, unless its explained in a novel.

I can't wait for next episode to figure out exactly whats going on with peter and his powers.

I am a little surprised that Mr. Bennett went back to being a round them uper. I wonder how many of them, if any, have already been taken to the place where the plane was going?

I wonder who all the other unknowns will be when the plane crashes, there are for sure more people in that plane than the general cast from the last Volumes (that are still alive lol).

If you read the Graphic Novels this weeks one Noah went to get one but Sylar had killed him and taken his "imprinting" power.

theres graphic novels for heroes? what is in them exactly? Who is noah again?

Yeah they are sometimes the best thing about Heroes week, the back stories are so interesting and you can learn alot that happens on screen as well from them.

I loved hated how the tension of Claire and Angela about Sylar's (un)death was immediately ruined in the cut to the next scene.

Zachary Quinto could have f*cked off for a couple episodes with regards to direct screen time and we could have had some Heroes facing near-misses with a blurry, shadowy stalker that might have been the gov't, might have been Sylar.

Unfortunately this is TV, and not an actual medium for good plot.

Everyone knew Sylar was alive.

Season 3 Ends April 27th

Apparently Season 3 of Heroes is scheduled for a total of 26 episodes and that means Volume 4 has 12 more episodes remaining. If there are no repeats that means Heroes will end on April 27th and not during the standard May Sweeps Ratings Period!?

We are checking our sources to confirm this information and will update you all as soon as we have more information.

Thanks to Bernie for the heads up and you can view the information listed on a Press Release for NBC's Howie Do It at The Futon Critic.

Meanwhile on the non-freshman front, network sources have confirmed the bulk of its production commitments for the rest of the 2008-09 season.

The number of episodes have been detailed for the following shows (season finale date in parenthesis): "Chuck" (22 episodes, April 13), "Heroes" (26 episodes, April 27), "Medium" (19 episodes, two hours on May 18), "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (19 episodes, May 12), "Law & Order: SVU" (22 episodes, May 19), "Life" (21 episodes, April 8), "Law & Order" (22 episodes, May 20), "My Name Is Earl" (26 half-hours, May 14), "The Office" (29 half-hours, one hour on May 14), "30 Rock" (22 episodes, May 7), "Friday Night Lights" (13 episodes, April 10) and "The Celebrity Apprentice" (11 episodes, May 17).

Note that "Life" had originally been set to film 22 installments, while "The Biggest Loser," which wrapped its sixth cycle after 13 weeks, will go for 19 this edition. And finally, "Medium" will fill out its 19-episode commitment with back-to-back installments starting at 9:00/8:00c on May 4, May 11 and May 18.

Bad News Ali Larter Fans...She's Getting a Big Story!

Here is another tidbit from the latest issue of TV Guide that confirms Ali Larter does not plan on leaving anytime soon and actually returning writer Bryan Fuller is "crafting a major storyline" for her!

Fuller also confirmed pressure to eliminate 1-2 original cast members.

Of course this is pretty much what Ali confirmed a couple of days ago during her live fancast as well.

Either way I am sure this news will make all of the Ali fans happy, but I just hope that we get to next season so Fuller gets that opportunity. I am sure we will, but NBC still has not made an official announcement.

Thanks to Watching Heroes for the heads up.

Q: Does Ali Larter want out of her Heroes contract? -Barry, Naples, Fla.

A: ?Malarkey!? consulting producer Bryan Fuller tells me. ?We?re invested in Ali and Ali?s invested in the show.? Fuller?s crafting a major storyline for her character, Tracy, next season to reward the actress for being such a good sport. Fuller says Ali didn?t complain once while being doused with ice-cold water for an upcoming scene that lasted four hours. But the show is feeling network pressure to ?eliminate? one or two original cast members. Fuller says, ?We need to show we mean business.?

At least Bryan Fuller is getting rid of 2 cast members! (tho Ali isn't one of them)

Problem is, those two will be ones people actually like. Its not Tracy. And it won't be Claire.

So that leaves the good ones.

Matt (could very well die)

Peter (not dying)

Sylar (not dying)

Noah (possible he would die saving Claire from something)

Nathan (not dying since he's the big bad now)

Hiro (not dying)

Ando (could die)

Mohinder (could die)

Out of those 4, I would hope its Mohinder and Ando.

    • I agree. I also think Phil stayed too long. They should definitely fire whoever thought all a console platform needed was Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout to survive. Asha and crew are still saying they need more Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. They simply don't get it.

    • Mozilla highlights Firefox Nova 2026 redesign and more upcoming features with new roadmap by Sayan Sen Last month Mozilla confirmed that Firefox was set to get a major redesign this year. Dubbed "Project Nova", it can already be tested and will roll out to all users later this year. The idea is to keep the browser competitive in a rapidly evolving internet landscape. As such the revamp focuses on improving privacy, usability, performance, accessibility, and customization. Key privacy features including the built-in VPN, private browsing mode, and Enhanced Tracking Protection, will be more visible and easier to manage, while users will have the option to disable AI features entirely through a dedicated kill switch. Additionally, the redesign promises faster page loading, the return of Compact mode, expanded personalization options, and stronger accessibility support. You can find the full details in the dedicated piece linked above. In a new blog post today the company once again reiterated on Nova and also emphasized other new and upcoming features like the settings revamp that is intended to make it easier for users to understand browser settings. In order to make it simpler for users to keep up with such features Mozilla today is launching Firefox roadmap. Hence enthusiasts and interested users will be able to check out what's cooking and also share feedback about the upcoming additions. Alongside the roadmap announcement, Mozilla also highlighted what's new in Firefox 152. One of the biggest additions is the arrival of Tab Groups on Android. The feature, which has already been helping desktop users organize large numbers of tabs, is now beginning to roll out on mobile. Users will be able to group related tabs together, assign names and colors to them, and return to them later. Mozilla says support for iOS will arrive later this year. Firefox 152 also introduces the aforementioned redesigned Settings experience. The company says the changes are meant to make controls easier to find and help users discover features they may not have previously known about. Existing preferences are not changing, though they are now better organized. Another notable addition is the new Blocked Tracker Widget, which provides a visual overview of Firefox's privacy protections by showing how many trackers have been blocked over time and the types of tracking activity the browser has stopped. Looking ahead, Mozilla revealed several upcoming roadmap features. They include customizable keyboard shortcuts, as well as enhanced PDF editing tools that will allow documents to be split, merged, and reorganized directly within Firefox. The company is also working on bringing Multi-Account Containers into the native Firefox experience thus removing the need for a separate extension. Meanwhile Firefox's built-in VPN is set to expand to mobile devices. Mozilla is also developing AI-powered features like Quick Answers, which can provide concise responses to voice queries, and Smart Window, its optional AI browsing experience that is now available without a waitlist. Finally, a new Power Saving Mode is in the works and will help reduce the impact of resource-heavy tabs on mobile devices in order to extend battery life. The video below summarizes the upcoming changes in an easy to understand format: You can find the announcement blog post here on Mozilla's official website.
    • Dead on arrival at that price. Like they missed the mark by multiple hundreds of dollars - this should actually undercut the Macbook Air at $899 if they want any sort of sales / further adoption of WoA
