This is for me the best free Antivirus on Commerce now:

http://www.free-av.com/en/download/1/avira..._antivirus.html

works perfectly on windows 7 build 7000...(32bit)

Kaspersky has a beta trial out which is free to use till April I suggest using that instead of Avira

With regards to the Windows 7 Beta mp3 bug.. does anyone know if i install Windows 7, and then install the fix asap. So long as i dont load up any mp3 files will the files become corrupted?

for example: if i didnt load up any mp3s and didnt install the fix would the files become corrupted? Do i need to load them in the windows media player to become corrupted?

many thanks :)

Anyone tried installing it in Virtual PC? I'm doing so right now. Will let you know how it goes when it's finished...

Why would you waste time on Virtual PC? Use VirtualBox instead. It's much better and faster.

Pressing back in Firefox v3.1 Beta 2 when the key is displayed will cause another key to be generated. Just got 30 keys doing this, haha.
That's not funny or cool to the people who've been trying for hours...

They have allotted 2.5 million keys worldwide. I doubt anyone is going to suffer...not that ringing up 30 keys when I doubt he will use them all is a good thing.

It only happens when you change meta data on the .mp3 files.

So as long as you don't play them or modify their meta data your good until you install it.

    • LOL. Can't even quote and edit a comment correctly. Figures you're a Linux user.
    • I have disabled it, but the app is still taking space. I have a Mac and it is only possible to disable Ai on that, but I think that bit does get rid of the AI components after a while. What we are told is that we agree to all this when we use the devices as it is in the end user agreements, their software, they can do what they like. I doubt that any bill will happen in the U.S, the government there are in league with big tech firms. The E.U maybe, they seem to have some guts when it comes to tech companies. The U.K is not in the E.U, but some things still affect us. Our government is as gutless when it comes to tech companies as the U.s government.
