Have done, it happens with my retail Vista disk too, must be something to do with the drive, no?

That or the program your burning it with it out of date? Nero 7 always screws up my burns :pinch:

How much HDD space is used after install? Only empty drive I have is a 4 GB USB Flash or my 30 GB iPod (long story short, ain't using it).

I used cloneCD. please notice that this also happens with my retail copy of Vista, which I didn't burn myself, lol!

Try reading the thread, it's giving out the same 10 generic keys to everyone.

The drivers that come with the card will not let you use all channels, The drivers which are downloaded via Windows update will not update the drivers installed from the CD. 2 Channel even though you have options for 5/6/7 channel, It won't work. And digital is a no go no matter what anyone says. It's a known huge issue.

Sleep mode works for me.

I seriously dont know how anyone installs these drivers :( hem hem

I stated that I do not get 5.1 audio. I only get stereo. I also fixed my sleep mode. It was due to the alpha nVidia video drivers I was using. Hopefully someone here will developed hacked drivers http://www.youp-pax.org/ soon so we can get 5.1+ audio.

One question, are these unique keys given to each account or can someone today possible get the same key and activate it before me. I've been reading some comments on how some people's keys are an exact duplicate but I haven't gotten any of those.

Looks like the original keys were unique but the ones being given out right now are a select few that are being given to everyone.

I think Microsoft gave up on giving out 2.5 million unique keys, but even though everyone has those keys they will activate for people still.

That is one good thing about Windows 7 itself. :) It has iso burning support built right in. Of course, that wouldn't do any good until it is installed though. :(

I get 0x80070017 (iirc) during the Expanding Files process. I looked it up and it seems like people had that problem with Vista too. Some said they fixed it by slowing the burn speed when they burn the disc.
