Idiot abuses cat on YouTube

Recommended Posts

Bro' you either obviously didn't watch both videos, didn't really think of the pain the poor creature was feeling or you are a very insensitive person, abusing a creature who feels pain just like you do but cannot express or defend itself is more than enough reason for YouTube to remove this, they remove thousands of copyrighted material everyday, if they wouldn't remove this type of thing I would really be angry at them, dude the kitty was crying in both videos didn't you notice it?

Yeah I get what you're saying, I didn't mean for my post to come off as being insensitive. No human or other animal deserves to be treated like garbage.

Edit: there's a second video? I only saw one.

I find the number of people who are suggesting beating up or killing this guy over the videos to be odd. While I'm not going to say whether or not I agree with the notion of beating seven shades of [something] out of him, it's strange how many people are willing to do that based on actions he did to a cat. Fair enough, people don't want to see a cat get abused - but is killing or beating a stupid kid a justified response to his behaviour?

I also don't understand why people are getting all uppity about this when the same people turn blind eyes to worse things that go on all around the world on a daily basis, and not just to animals, but people too - innocent children at that. I suppose because that sort of thing isn't broadcast on Youtube, it's easier to forget about, or to not be informed of it at all. Bliss in ignorance and all that. I'm not criticising, just commenting - before someone who I didn't mean to offend starts ranting at me :p

I personally believe in an eye for an eye (if you kill someone, you should have your life taken, etc etc)....so I think at the very least, he should be smacked around and thrown into a wall for a minute or so. As for stuff like this happening on a daily basis, it depends...if you mean stuff like that happening to domestic cats or dogs, then I feel whatever the person does to them, should be done to the person who did it......animals like cows and chickens and what now, I am perfectly OK with killing them as a majority of the time they end up as food no matter how they are killed.

Wow, an eye for an eye? Shouldn't this only apply to inter-human violence?

And your domestic animals vs livestock argument makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Each to their own.

This is exactly why there will never be any kind of world peace or anything of the sort, everyone has different values.

As for domestic vs livestock, how does that not make sense? Domestic animals were raised to be around and with humans, therefore you should treat them how you would another person.....livestock is raised for food, they are raised to die and be eaten. Major difference if you ask me.

What is considered a "domestic animal" to your country is livestock to another's.

First of all we don't torture livestock; second cats are not livestock anyway. I fail to see your point.

I don't want to see the videos but I really hope these guys get what they deserve.

The video was recorded in the US which makes the "domestic animal" in the video domestic, not livestock.

That isn't the point. A domestic animal is nothing more than a term, it doesn't make the animal any more important or special than livestock.

Is that a joke? You don't think livestock go through worse treatment than this?

People like that especially at that age (by the sounds of their voices) do extend their "fetish" onto actual human being either through bullying or even worse (if they don't already do it...)

The video is very sad for the cat and I cannot stand any kind of abuse to any pet or human!

If I knew those two in person I'd make sure they were dealt with. The world doesn't need people like that and they just waste tax payers time and money being put to trial and being locked up, they are better off taken from this earth or beaten to an inch of their life.

That isn't the point. A domestic animal is nothing more than a term, it doesn't make the animal any more important or special than livestock.

Nothing more than a term? So an animal sharing a much closer bond with humans than another animal doesn't make it more important than livestock? I have to completely disagree with that statement. Chances are you disagree with my statement, but in the end does it really matter? Everyone has a different view about topics like this, trying to disagree with someone about how they feel about the topic is like trying to prove their wrong when there is no wrong answer.

Yeah, and it sounds like you should get a dictionary and look that term up. There is a difference. That said it's just as wrong to torture any animals, but yes we do kill some animals for food, it's kind of necessary. That's a completely different thing than what happened here.

No, I'm fairly positive that we don't beat the crap out of livestock and hurt them for fun while making videos of it.

Your arguments are ridiculous.

Most livestock IS domesticated.

Besides that, how does the fact that YOU are able to better connect with a dog or a cat relate to other people who have stronger relationships with livestock like horses, etc?

Every animal is equally important and cared for less or more in different countries. You can't expect and eye for an eye when the acceptability of killing certain animals is simply based on your society.

Who is advocating torturing horses? Could you just stop ranting, you sound like a crazy PETA freak. Yes we know all kinds of animals get abused, it's sad and it's illegal. What does any of that have to do with these poor cats? Are you trying to say this video was no big deal? What on earth is your point, or do you even have one?

Killing animals for food does not equal hurting animals for absolutely no reason like this case. It just doesn't.

If you actually read what we began to talk about - "An Eye for an Eye"

You would have known.

When was the last time a horse was looked at as a main food source?

If domestic is too broad a term for you to understand the difference, how about using pets instead? From what your saying, pets and livestock should be treated the same. When was the last time you let a cow sleep on your couch or on the edge of your bed? Thought so.......

I think the point was why is this video causing such an uproar when there are loads of other cases of worse situations that nobody bats an eyelid at.

Oh how I wish I lived in Oklahoma at this very moment.

I understand bad things happen to a lot of animals, even worse things. But, him and his friend made a ****ing video, and the cat is defenseless. I hope something worse happens to him, and I hope we can all see.

    • There is a default resolution setting in Settings > Display that can be changed with a click. You can also change the settings on a per-game basis. No CLI needed. Also, Steam has countless games that are not "[perpetual] alpha/beta games", so no need for the straw man. Plus you can use other stores as well. And console games (e.g. PS5) cost a fortune, which itself more than negates the price subsidy on the system, unless you plan on exclusively playing 1 or 2 games. It's true that you shouldn't buy a system that doesn't support the game(s) you want to play, but I think that's kinda obvious, and applies to every console as well as PC. I don't game in the living room and have no need of a Steam Machine, but there is a clear market segment that would find it useful.

RSS Guard 5.2.0 changelog: Added: Feed auto-fetch can now also be delayed while Feral GameMode is active on Linux and startup auto-fetch is skipped when GameMode is already active. (#2265) WebEngine builds can now use RSS Guard generated proxy auto-config (PAC) rules so article/web browsing follows per-account and per-feed proxy settings more closely. (#2273) Generated PAC rules now also cover related subdomains and use Public Suffix List data, so feeds such as feeds.bbc.co.uk can also proxy resources from images.bbc.co.uk. (#2273) Standard feeds can now define extra proxy domains, useful when article images, stylesheets or other page resources are loaded from a CDN or another domain that should use the same feed proxy. (#2273) RSS Guard now asks for proxy credentials when a WebEngine page needs proxy authentication and can fill credentials from the current feed proxy when available. (#2273) Network settings again include an option to ignore all cookies, which clears stored cookies and prevents new cookies from being accepted. Standard RSS/ATOM feeds can now individually ignore cookies while downloading feed data. Stored cookies can now be deleted from the Tools menu. Custom skin colors can now override the feed list article count color separately from feed titles, including a separate highlighted color. (#2275) Settings dialog can now search across available settings and highlight matching controls. (#1754) Standard RSS/ATOM feeds can now optionally be reported as broken when they are valid but contain no articles. (#2039) Standard RSS/ATOM feeds can now override the application-wide feed connection timeout per feed. (#1023) Tray icon can now use a custom background color and unread-count text color, with an option to reuse the generated icon as the application icon. (#1973) Support for more benevolent parsing of Gemlog entries (#2295). Article list can now show when an article was received by RSS Guard. (#947) Feed deep discovery now actually scrapes all links found in the website and checks if they are feeds or not. This greatly enhances usability of the deep discovery mode and discovers many more feeds than before. (#2306) Search boxes now show a small dot when the feed or article list is hiding some items because of active filtering. (#873) Articles now have a shortcut-assignable action to open the homepage of the feed they belong to. (#2060) Fixed: Parallel feed updates no longer crash when multiple update results are processed at the same time. (64cf521) Links in WebEngine articles opened from feeds such as Kill the Newsletter now open correctly instead of being swallowed by the embedded page. (#2272) Relative article URLs resolution was kinda broken. (#2282) Clicking article URL did not work when the URL had "fragment" set. (#2293) The default proxy setting now uses Qt/system default proxy behavior instead of forcing no proxy. (e0263ad) WebEngine article loading now keeps the current feed context, so feed-specific proxy credentials remain available while the article page loads.
