Idiot abuses cat on YouTube

Recommended Posts

because we are desensitized to people getting blown up in the middle east, we (US) only care when its one of ours

this is not war - this is someone who gets off on torturing animals

HazeFace - Killah ? - you contradict yourself - you say, "What's the difference? A life is a life no matter where it is." well that kinda puts the cat being tortured in the same category as people in the middle east reduced to exploding chunks (I mean no disrespect to our troops)-

if we see a middle eastern kid get blown to smitherines on CNN we think - oh well - thats pretty much par for the course - but if we saw a person beating the sh*t out of the kid from *stan - that is different - its something defenseless being abused horribly - so you really cant compare this public outcry of 11 thread pages to world hunger, global warming, poverty, war, or some other irrelevant global atrocity.

hes not playing devil's advocate for the sake of conversation and intellectual debate -

How come I'm not desentisized to war when I was born into one in Somalia? I`ve gone back back about 4 times and I`m still shocked at the **** I`ve seen happen to people. My username has nothing to do with anything, so what if I play alot of FPS`s? what I meant was if you guys take this cats life so seriously then why can`t you do the same for another defenceless human being.

How about this kid, he might still be alive:

Injured Child ( Picture Contains Graphic Content)

Unfortunately no one knows who these kids are. All of this 'dox dopping' is getting no where. People are posting OTHER people's phone numbers and addresses that are not these kids.

Who knows if these kids will ever get caught -- most LE are clueless about 'internet crimes'.

Hopefully some mainstream news will air their pictures and voices -- maybe that will get some where.

This is just so sad.

People are animals or it was the will of God,like in this case.

There's an excuse for everything.

Those places have been at war for plenty of time, but people don't just abuse cats in the civilized world. ;) That's the difference. As soon as kids get blown up in Europe or USA there will be 100 pages on such dedicated thread, because that's not an "everyday thing" and people are trying to differentiate themselves from animals, which is not the case in other places that don't need mentioning.

Well, most of us haven't been to war and haven't witnessed first hand how terrible it is. This kind of thing is often played on the news, commercials, etc, and they usually censor it to the point where it doesn't crush us emotionally like the video of the cat being slammed into the wall, or the puppy being thrown off of a cliff by a soldier. That picture you showed us would be more effective in getting people to do something than the many pictures of confusion and isolation that we are fed. We have become desensitized to that. They do the same with pets, where animal shelters show you pictures of dogs and cats staring blankly going in slow motion. Unfortunately we see it so many times to the point where it almost becomes commercial with the different organizations asking for money, donations, etc -- it prevents most of us from becoming emotionally attached to it.

It is when we see something like this, a cat being abused, by one of us that gets people riled. Many people saw their own pet in those videos, and that string of emotional attachment was rattled as they continued to abuse the cat.

It is not often that we see a pet abused and posted casually on the Internet. The fact that there were clues and evidence as to who it might've been is the reason why this story skyrocketed out of the many animal abuse stories. It's a great feeling to know that you were a part of the movement that got the wackjob arrested.

I'm sure if they found that the Iraqi boy was innocently shot or blasted in the leg by a soldier on purpose, it would make headlines. But as far as we know, he's just another casualty of war. It is sad, but this is the way most people see it.

I hope that answers it.

It does

people are trying to differentiate themselves from animals, which is not the case in other places that don't need mentioning.

Thats because EVERYBODY differentiates themselves from animals. You don't feed other humans to animals. It is common sense - every human puts themselves above animals in basically every situation.

If animals were all treated equal to us, we'd probably be dead.

Uh, hello? Those are the kids, they are already caught and the cat is safe at the vets. Have we been reading the same thread here?

Common sense has different meanings depending on where you live. :)

Ok I see it now. I have read many different names on various sites that were people just posting random names.

I'm glad they got caught -- but what will happen?

Its an immature kid. The cat didn't die. Whats the big deal?

He was being extremely mean to it. He clearly deserves to die. Just like the bullies that knocked a lot of our helpless selves around on playgrounds when we were younger.

So you want to end a human being's life because he was "mean"? Seriously?! Just take a step back and read what you just wrote. You want somebody to be killed for being mean - and to a cat at that, not even another human being. I know some people don't care much for the sanctity of life, but your post takes the proverbial somewhat.

I'm not condoning what this kid has done, he's a menace. But I don't wish death upon him.

You people sicken me. Oh nos! the poor defensive little putty tat. I rough house worse with my pit bulls than this kid did to this cat. Personally, if it was me, I would more than likely have fed this cat to my pit bulls. And for the record, I HATE CATS.

Your cool. Continue though, impress us all with your amazing animal stories.

I guess we'll be waiting for your video to be released on YouTube?

I'm so, so glad that sick chicken **** kid got caught and the cat got taken to a good home.

Look - everyone is on here having a moral duck-fit about how people get killed and shot every day, and how one little cat doesn't mean anything. You're right in the grand scheme of things. But cowards like this need to be taught a lesson and innocent animals which can't fight back don't deserve to suffer this kind of abuse. This is why organisations like the RSPCA exist - because they can't fend for themselves. Mankind domesticised animals like this.. they're not here by nature, and it's frankly ****ed up to then abuse the trust they have for us in that way.

This made me so, so angry. If I'd had the joy of tracking that kid down, I'd have beaten him to a pulp.

    • Yup, broke my comp… again. its times like this when I regret AMD. This just never happens on NV.
    • Huh? You're delusional calling the Steam Deck dead. It is so successful that it has sold out multiple times. Even after the price hike this year it sold out again with 24 hours of being back in stock. The demand is real and has not died down even after four years.
    • Same place "Unreal III" is, in everyone's thoughts!
    • So how much water is used in that "initial charge" and how often will it need to be recharged?
