[Official] Killzone 2

Recommended Posts

I got my PS3/KZ2 in the mail today  I played the first three missions or so of single player. I got a couple non-mission trophies too. So far the game seems rather sweet. I'm still getting used to the controls (I keep hitting R1 to reload because I"m used to Gears of War...so I've naded myself several times so far...). But the controls don't see that bad at all. I'm just throwing myself off because I'm used to some other games.

I don't usually go online until I beat the SP portion of a game, so it might be a while before I can trade shells with the rest of you.

I think we should start working on these ribbons:

Meritorious Unit Award - 10x Clan Matches Won with Clan - 1000 Valor

Meritorious Unit Award - 25x Clan Matches Won with Clan - 10,000 Valor

Army Superior Unit Award - 50x Clan Matches Won with Clan - 100,000 Valor

I tried to join you guys, but server was always full.

BTW who is DPyro?

We played I think sunday or monday night and did alot of damage :D

DPyro is $n!pR I believe.

Im really loving the game and mutli player is great....ill b sure to look out next time if kol or whoever is in a Neowin room and join :)

Just one thing about the game just doesnt seem right is the control on the x-y axis just doesnt seem that responsive or something! makes it quite hard to control!

have you got medic yet? first time i played as a medic i made twice what i was as a normal soldier, we didnt win the match either if we had i would have got around 80 points with the bonus

Not yet, i think i've still got around a 100 points to go still but i'm hoping to make it soon.

I was there too :(

 I take it you didn't do as well.

It was my birthday yesterday, I was away from home/internet access pretty much all day :p

I'll do it now.

Edit: Nevermind, I've sent the invite through the search system. Also sent a friend request.

Pfft, one match played with you both and you disappeared off to the other side.

ISA scum, Helghast ftw!

I have to say that i do prefer the Helghast, mainly because the mission voiceovers are funnier :D

Has anyone switched the default rifle? I tried the second one (forget the name) and didn't like it that much because of the lack of zoom and i find that it's harder to 'control' if you know what i mean.

You really need six copies :p?

No. A buddy of my son runs a gaming site and he had a contest giving away 5 copies. They have been laying around here for ages. It's nice to finish a game before it has been released.

( Yes, I tend to "steal" one of his games once in a while. )

no wonder everytime I ask you to play Gears 2 you are at work LOL..

Tell me about it. It's a bitch.

 I take it you didn't do as well.

I did! I was right behind their sorry asses reviving them for the majority of the game :p

It wouldn't let me switch. The auto balance is a pain, especially when you're trying to play with buddies. The lack of a party system sucks.

Yeah the game need a party system. When we are playing we always select Helghast.

    • This is listed as a preview in WU for me. I usually don't grab them as previews; what's your opinion on it so far?
