[Official] Killzone 2

Recommended Posts

It was my birthday yesterday, I was away from home/internet access pretty much all day :p

I'll do it now.

Edit: Nevermind, I've sent the invite through the search system. Also sent a friend request.

lol.. happy belated bday man (Y) !

So how do we mix badges?

I have the second tactition badge unlocked, but how would I use that with the first medic? or do i have to unlock the second badge of a class to mix with?

You need to level up the second badge. Once you get all ribbons for that second badge you can use a second badge from any other classes on that class but you need to unlock the second badge from the other class too. Tactician second badge is hard to level up. The air support bot never kill anyone.

I'm working with Engineering now. The bot kills but is not easy to get a kill. You need to place the bot in the right place.

Yeah it's a pain in the butt to get that ribbon. One tactic that works is if you deploy your air support and stick around the area (it sucks but camping may be your best option here), then wait for enemies to come, weaken them with gunfire and let your bot finish them off. This is pretty hard if your teammates are around though, so you have to find the right spot to do it.

Has anyone got the Professional trophy? It's where you need to get three headshots in a row with the M4 Revolver.

I've tried doing it but no luck. I've tried letting my buddy knock helmets off so I can get three shots at bare heads but waiting for the buddy to knock the helmets off is a futile exercise - he tends to kill them with body shots.

I've tried shooting the helmets off with my primary weapon then switching to the revolver but literally cannot get the head shots in a row.

Which level have you done this trophy on?

I was thinking about Verudan alley where the shock troops run down the ramp - might be worth just repeating that level and running towards them firing the revolver at head height and see if I get lucky.

I've done it.

Cant remember where though, but i'm pretty sure it was in the couple of first levels when your left on your own for a few mins, having a buddy will only get in the way.

And you don't need to knock helmets off or damage them, if you get the shot right on the mark they will go down in one.

So I got to the palace and am trying to kill this Redic or whatever his name is..

I'm in the palace and get to the balcony level and they just keep fraking coming. Those frakers with knives always cut me half way..

Any tips.. this is driving me nuts. Is that the final level?

You are in the 2nd level? Just get cover and keep shooting them. On the second floor go to the left and keep behind all the trash there. Worked for me. After the rocket launcher guys there are some more enemies and then Radec.

Jesus, not even a week after the game is released. Someone needs to go outside and get some friends or a job.

Nah it's one of the journalists over on GAF.

Has had the game for weeks.

Corris will probably do it in a week but :p

Ok, that's not so bad I guess. If he/she had the game for weeks now AND gets paid to play it, then I'm not surprised they're finished already.

its not hard to get you know.

If you did the ranking trophies from when the servers were first up and got them then the only probably would be the medal ones, which I'm sure you could spam with friends.

And no, I wont be getting it any time soon, I have a lot of work and not enough time to game enough to get the ranking ones.

My thoughts on the game in writing <a href="http://<< spam >>/97fpzo" target="_blank">http://<< spam >>/97fpzo</a> please go and have a read and comment.

I still love this game, some of the maps annoy me online. The people as well can be morons as well but otherwise it is great!

Well it says spam :p

The only map I don't like very much is the desert one. I don't know the name.

The desert one can be a bit big to run across sometimes, but can be remedied if someone is a tactician and places spawn points.

The one with the bridge is usually the one I don't get along with, I don't know why, even though its probably one of the easier maps to get lots of kills, it just doesn't seem to work OK in my head when running around, and I almost always run the wrong way when spawning in the mdidle, lol.

    • Grand Theft Auto VI pricing revealed alongside Ultimate Edition and pre-loading details by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Last week, Rockstar revealed Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will be starting soon, and just a day ahead of that, now the studio has announced the official pricing for the highly anticipated game. This has been a hotly debated topic among fans and industry veterans for a long time, considering the game is expected to be the biggest entertainment product launch ever. The confirmed pricing for the Grand Theft Auto VI standard edition is $79.99, which Rockstar says gives access to the "single-player experience set in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet." This follows what most of our readers thought would happen with the pricing too. At the same time, a $99.99 Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition has been confirmed as well, which lands with "an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and action threaded across all aspects of Jason and Lucia’s story." Pre-ordering will also give fans extra bonuses, including a Vintage Vice City Pack of cosmetic items as well as a free month of GTA+. Head to the official website of the game here to check out all the cosmetic rewards the Ultimate Edition and pre-orders bring. Interestingly, the studio does not mention Grand Theft Auto VI multiplayer at all in today's announcement. Perhaps this will arrive later, following the campaign launch, or the studio is keeping that reveal for a later date. Digital pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25, 2026, at midnight local time across regions for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The title is slated to launch on November 19 on those same platforms. Pre-loading for Grand Theft Auto VI will kick off on November 12, giving players a week to get the game ready on their consoles. As for the physical edition, Take-Two has confirmed that this will be available without a disc, with the box only containing a download code inside. This will be purchasable starting November 12, giving players who take this route time to pre-load the title as well.
    • Turbo Pascal was my first real programming experience more than 30 years ago at university. I mostly taught myself from the included examples and help documentation, because the university only taught the basic syntax and philosophy of Pascal, without going deeply into Turbo Pascal’s advanced features. I still remember when I discovered that I could embed assembly language directly into Pascal code, call BIOS functions, manipulate screen memory, use mouse interrupts, and control peripherals from my programs. That opened huge doors for me. Programming back then felt really fun, direct, and close to the machine. What I loved about Pascal was its readability and the almost instant compile time. Turbo Pascal was an amazing environment, but unfortunately Turbo Pascal for Windows 3 did not feel like it fully carried that legacy forward. Later, Delphi got things back on the right track after the messy transition to TP for Windows. Sadly, Delphi suffered from years of uncertainty as it moved from Borland to CodeGear and then to Embarcadero. That instability made many developers lose confidence in it, even though Delphi itself remained a powerful and productive tool. I still work with Delphi from time to time, but I definitely miss the old days of Turbo Pascal.
