@wguimb Your company has TAP? Is anyone else thinking what im thinking?

Yes, I searched for my company name on the page to sign up as an Individual with my Organization. It found my company, and let me register using my corporate email address (the @domain must match) and it said my registration was successful, so I am waiting for my confirmation email now.

Keep us posted on the status of your registration and any possible (Windows 7 RC) goodies you find. :shiftyninja:

What i meant is that it doesn't usually say "RC1", "Beta1", etc. like that.

Just wondering why, all of a sudden, it did.

Btw don't go there with "1 RC", spent a day arguing with a guy whether or not it was called "RC" or "RC1" because there wouldn't be a "RC2 :D

One problem though. It looks like a photoshop job to me. For one thing, isn't Windows 7 supposed to be kernel version 6.1 or something and not 7.0? What do you think? :)

It is already established it is fake.I still cant believe the guys on another forum fell for that amateur photoshop work...

I have also an account registered as an MS gold partner but at the moment I can only download the beta...The page has also changed and there is no mention of the RC anymore...

great, no release yet and no leak. sucks we have to wait almost 3 weeks for it. i really wanted to install this sucker this weekend.

You know, people don't have to leak builds. So what that you have to wait? Get over it. That one post shows me your personality. It's more than likely that it will leak a few days before public release anyway.

So what? You are a beta tester FOR FREE and want it earlier than who pays a subscription? Get over it.

Testers are the people that are basically hired by Microsoft to report bugs, and suggestions, it makes sense for them to have builds first so that they can get bug bashing for it. Far more bug reports come out of the Tech betas that usually do out of MSDN / Technet subs

You people need to research a lot more. It's already been confirmed that it was put up by mistake and that OEM's are getting interim builds not the RC as there is no RC build to give yet because it's yet to be compiled.

This presentation is actually an error on the part of Microsoft (which l then withdrew). At the moment, only the OEM like Dell or HP customers have access to test builds. Come to graft here a few days MSDN, TechNet subscribers and testers. According my close sources team Corp, the general public will have to wait a few extra days to download Windows 7 RC 5 May 2009 , then that other sources announce the 15 May.

I don't completely disagree with you, but you have to also look at it like Microsoft is getting beta testing done for free. Besides, there are enough other perks you get with that subscription that is it hardly unfair if Microsoft just released it for all testers at the same time regardless if they have a subscription or not.
