[Cancelled] Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5 : Redemption)

No i meant he could go back to the past and bring the kid into the present.

Ahhh, I misread.

You're getting into a gray area with Peter touching other people then. Yeah, as a practical application it could work: Peter touches Hiro, teleports to get healer (as a kid or as an adult) by touching him through his clothes so that he doesn't absorb his healing powers, teleports back to Hiro in the hospital and has him healed, but that's too simple. Also introduces a few issues, like Peter going to the healer when he's a kid and practically kidnapping him, or in the present, prior to their meeting, he only produces death with his touch. The route they went wasn't so bad.

Episode 4x08 Shadowboxing - Official Press Release

11/09/2009 (08:00PM - 09:00PM) (Monday) : CLAIRE LEARNS THE TRUTH BEHIND THE ATTACKS AND SYLAR TAKES MATTERS INTO HIS OWN HANDS - JIMMY JEAN-LOUIS, MADELINE ZIMA, DEANNE BRAY, DAWN OLIVIERI AND TESSA THOMPSON GUEST STAR

Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is determined to get to the bottom of the Sorority Rush attacks on her own, until H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) intervenes only to realize he may be the source of her troubles. Meanwhile, Peter's (Milo Ventimiglia) new ability is a perfect fit for his job and gives him the opportunity to help Emma (guest star DeanneBray) accept her new life. Elsewhere, Sylar's (Zachary Quinto) battle at gaining full control over Matt's (Greg Grunberg) body escalates --with potentially dangerous implications at stake. Robert Knepper and Adrian Pasdar also star. Kat Purgal, Carlease Burke, Danica Stewart,Candice Patton, Sally Champlin and Assaf Cohen also guest star.

I dont know why but I like Emma's power. Looks pretty :p :D

Indeed. The special effects are nice and it gives a certain flair to the show. ;)

The people I would consider untouchable:

Peter

Hiro

Claire

I would say Sylar, but he's a bad guy, so theres always a chance.

Sylar won't die. They'll kill the show if they kill him. The only person who is immortal and could die would be Claire. She can be missed and will not affect the show in a negative matter. I suppose.

OT: Can't Peter use his time travelling power to go back, touch Arthur, absorb his power and go back to the present?

No, he would only get Arthur's ability which would only allow him to steal other's powers. He would also lose Hiro's powers when he got Arthur's so he would be then stuck in the past until he found Hiro (or another time traveler) and stole his power.

Yes, but he could go back with Hiro's power and absorb his own ability from his earlier self.

So an opinion has to be dependable? You have to count on somebody saying what YOU want them to say? Sheesh, sorry but agree to disagree on this one.

Buddy, we can agree to disagree. NP (Y)

Another total **** episode. In Season One we all knew where the season was headed. There was clear direction, but they haven't had clear direction since then and until they get back to that, we're never going to have a good show again. It is suffering from the exact same thing Lost suffered from in Seasons Two and Three. When they got that end date, the show, in Season Four, became fantastic and only got better. Heroes needs an end date.

I disagree with your assertion. I've liked every episode thus far this season and every episode since season 1 ep 1. I think it is better that they don' t provide direction and leave us guessing. Way more realistic in that aspect. Somethings are predictable other things aren't.

Doing that would have the next obtained ability overwrite his leeching one, so it can't work. At least, that's how the writers have dictated it with the show's actions.

Yeah, I kinda see what you are saying, but then it could happen that way and we get back the full Peter. Not the half limp guy. But then I've thought that somehow time travel would be that thing that gets him back his ability, basically going back to before he lost the abilities and preventing it.

The ol' switcheroo. Figures that would've happened to him.

Yep was I the only one who didn't fall for the "dying" Sylar there? Other than that, the episode was good probably because it didn't feature Hiro. I don't think I've ever bagged on him, but lately it just seems like he is quite annoying.

Really? I find Parkman as a character to be the worst almost in the history of the show, each episode I pray for his demise. Deliver us from awful acting Sylar, I beg of you.

Last nights episode is possibly the most boring hour of Heroes ever, this series can't end soon enough. I'll hang in just to see if Kring can pull it back to that show full of promise we had on season 1 butI'm not holding my breath.

I really starting to wonder how the whole Matt/Sylar situation and the Nathan/Sylar situation will pan out. Matts on the verge of loosing his family again. I wonder if we will see the real Sylar back this season.

Claire has major damage control now to take care of and I still wonder if we will see Hiro become what we saw in the first season vision he had.

Whats the deal with the Carnival though? Is that an actual location or a fantasy location? I mean because that cop wondered there when they tried to bring back Sylars memories.

    • So they saved ton of money by using AI resulting in loss of crap load of money in recalls and expenses. Bravo. Management needs to be replaced by AI, not engineers.
    • Ditto that, I have a few Alexa devices around the house to control lighting and such for a disabled person I live with, and it shows a *lot* of ads on the display. The dots are simple but effective. A lot cheaper too.
    • Go for a Echo Dot or Pop instead. These Echo shows just advertise to you.

Fixed startup crash with Auto-Cycling — The app no longer crashes on launch after enabling Cycle display mode. Fixed incorrect network speeds on 10GbE adapters — Multi-gigabit network cards now display speeds correctly instead of being stuck at 0. Improved color coding — Default color is shown when idle, and color/threshold changes now apply immediately without restarting. Fullscreen visibility fix — The widget now correctly stays visible over fullscreen apps when Keep Visible is enabled. Improved AMD Ryzen temperature detection — More reliable CPU temperature monitoring for Ryzen processors. Cleaner upgrades — Installer now removes outdated application files during upgrades, preventing DLL/version conflicts while preserving user settings. Improved stability — Fixed potential DLL loading issues by excluding critical OpenSSL and NumPy components from UPX compression. Better settings window — Scrollbars removed and layout improved for a cleaner experience. Localization improvements — Updated translations and completed missing UI text across all supported languages.
