The military ship should have been more advanced probably.

all military stuff is built with the " cheapest " price, Airforce 1 is still run on XP systems, as well as Marine 1.

i can see the tech of the science ship being higher as science would mroe likely be privatized and what goes on the ship would be in the control of the scientists. could easily say that an upgraded system is needed to get more accurate results for an experiment

Too bad, but great design, kudos to the artist. Reminded me of a Kubrick or Tarkovsky movie.

Edit: Holly hell! This guys should be hired by a major Hollywood design powerhouse ASAP.

Regarding the David clip, since I haven't commented earlier -- such a layered performance. Fassbender's the ****.

Fassbender it's Hollywood next great actor. Have you seen Shame?

^ Thanks for the updates and tidbits, but I'm drawing the line with the latest trailer. Wish I actually didn't watch that one either, I've been hyping this up so much it'll be hard to meet the expectations, not to mention each trailer showed more and more stuff. At this point, the only thing they haven't done is show the xenomorph, and contrast that with the first teasers when no one was even sure if it was a proper Alien prequel.

Still, really looking forward to checking this out.

Trailers are a mixed bag. I've seen some where some content in them didn't even appear in the movie. You never really know and I think Ridley Scott + Alien precursor backstory is good enough to carry the hype.

How is this a prequel to Aliens?

Not technically a prequel (maybe a spiritual one), but they talk about the space jockeys (the large being sitting in the chair in the derelict spaceship in Alien) and their plans to conquer the universe.

Same. I'm thinking this movie will have the android that we hear about in the first Alien. The reason why everyone distrust androids so much will hopefully be revealed :)

I think Alien and the small conversation Bishop had in Aliens sure explains why everyone distrusts Androids so much in the Alien universe :) I'm hoping for more of the same from our friend David in Prometheus :D

      Windoze 11 could finally go to hell, instead of making me savor yet another error I've never had. "Bad Pool Caller" or whatever TF cryptic crap0la message it is. Adding salt to injury, it says something along these lines (on the blank black screen after it hard stops): "Your windoze needs to restart. You can restart." NO WAY SHERLOCK. The PEECEE, look, it's *blocked*, I can do jack sh1t with it as it is and you say that it needs to restart? Further, that I can restart? What am I supposed to do, take a herbal bath? Sudo a sandwich? Timewaster pile of useless slop and errors, coded by monkeys and force-fed on us by a pedo-founded corporation, that's all there is to it. Now, let's have a fun weekend trying to handle the error, which after a quick internet check can basically be due to EVERYTHING, from memory faults to drivers to motherboard issues. Thanks M$.
