Smallville Season 9

Recommended Posts

I think they killed Metallo too quickly. A few more episodes would have been better or maybe half season. I think it would have been pretty good.

A lot of Lois these two episodes. I like it. :D

I kinda liked the fact that they did.

The last few seasons dragged out storylines farrrr to long.

I haven't watched the second episode yet, but the first one was awful as always.

Agreed. episode 1 was crap. episode 2 was better. but still pretty crap. almost one of those completely self contained episodes which has no actual influence on any main story lines other than the very end of the episode. ****es me right off with smallville some times.

I was under the impression Metallo CAN be revived based on the dialogs in the episode.

talk about a dragged out filler episode, i thought they were cutting back on these?

cg effects have also gotten worse, must be low on money

Wasn't actually bad at all, a tons of Superhero, Lois & Clark moments. This season is really incredible.

A poor ep imo. Hardly any progress in the overall story. What's Clark doing messing around in Smallville when he should be doing his training? Get a move on with the story.

Ditto, just the same stuff being recycled again.

Radish?

'Smallville' Actor Arrested in Big-Time Drug Deal

One of the stars of "Smallville" was arrested this morning -- after cops say he was part of a conspiracy to deal more than 10,000 pills of oxycodone.

TMZ has learned Sam Jones, who played Clark Kent's best friend on the show, was taken into custody by DEA agents who claim Jones was a "co-conspirator" in a series of major drug deals in 2008.

According to documents filed in federal court, the DEA claims Jones was the "Hollywood connection" in a plot to illegally purchase and distribute the oxycodone.

Jones has been charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute. He's due in federal court in L.A. later today.

If convicted, Jones faces up to 20 years in federal prison.

superman cant save him now.

While I don't have the hatred for Smallville that Great White Snark does -- although he doesn't have the hatred for Heroes that I do, because we're only dumb enough to punish ourselves with one of these programs each -- it takes some serious stunt casting to make me care about anything happening with Smallville. Three days ago, IGN reported some upcoming superhero appearances on the show, but I'm only now finally guilted into telling you all because nothing else much is going on. I blame Smallville more than myself, frankly.

Three members of the Justice Society have been announced, due to show up on a Geoff Johns-penned Justice Society-themed episode. Since Johns wrote what was apparently the best/only good Smallville episode of last season, this episode should be eminently watchable. Above is Burn Notice's Michael Shanks, who'll be Hawkman...

...and Britt Irvin as Stargirl. Now, I understand that the main cast is so 30-something that they had to stop pretending they were teens and be college age in Metropolis, right? But does that mean they can just cast 40-somethings as the Justice Society? Weren't the Justice League people like Green Arrow and the Flash and the rest supposed to be young, even if the actors playing them weren't? Why does the Justice Society get to be middle-aged? Excepting, of course, Stargirl, because no one wants to see Stargirl as anything other than barely legal.

Topless Robot

I do love this guys writing

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, Sonic Racing, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games store brought along two games from wildly different genres this week for PC gamers to claim. Robobeat is a rhythm-based action game that lets you become a bounty hunter that can wall run, slide, and bunny hop around his opponents. All you have to do is stick to the beat for the built-in or custom songs. Next, Citizen Sleeper is a sci-fi RPG adventure taking place in a ruined space station. It uses tabletop RPG-inspired elements like dice rolls and timers to change up how players approach its activities, factions, and storylines. The Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat giveaways end on June 25. On the same day, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 and Voidwrought will become the next freebies. The bundle space expanded with two more collections from Humble this week too. The June 2unes bundle is up first, carrying plenty of rhythm games. This carries Kill the Music and Rhythm Witch in the $5 starting tier, followed by Trombone Champ, Spin Rhythm XD, and Thumper in the $7 tier. Paying at least $12 gets you the complete bundle, which adds on Kalpa: Cosmic Symphony, Everhood 2, NOISZ, and Sixtar Gate: StarTrail. The next bundle is for virtual reality fans. This carries Among Us 3D: VR and Zero Caliber VR for $10. The next tier brings in Tactical Assault VR, Ancient Dungeon, and Arizona Sunshine Remake for $15. VTOL VR, Zero Caliber 2 Remastered, Metro Awakening, and Thief VR land to finish things off for $18. Free Events It's a big week for free event fans, as Valve kicked off another one of its Next Fest events. This one carries thousands of gameplay slices from upcoming indie games The promotion is set to run until June 22. Standard free events are also ongoing this weekend. This includes the sci-fi grand strategy experience Stellaris from Paradox and the hit SEGA management game Two Point Museum.
