Looks like Chelsea got another piece of ref aid..
Like not getting 2 solid penalties? The one we got was not a penalty but the ref missed two.

Anyway we're winter champions, although that's not saying much.By the time ManU's squad is back on form we will miss essential players to the African Cup..

Looks like Chelsea got another piece of ref aid, even so a very creditable result for the Hammers. Thank heavens that the title race is staying alive.

I haven't seen it yet, listening on the radio was funny though "he steps up...scores!...wait he has to retake it...steps up...scores!...wait no another retake!...steps up and this time scores!"

I didn't see the game either, but most of the pundits that covered it for the BBC thought it was a poor decision, but then I guess diving for penalties is just something that is part of the DNA of the Chelsea team now. Still, your boys produced a great result here, and that shouldn't be overlooked.

Yeah we had our 12th man the fans! :D

great to see even with all financial problems aside we can still play well!

It was far from a dive, just a tacke that the linesman gave as a foul

At least that's one scenario. One that's being peddled elsewhere is that the American owners are considering jilting Ben?tez and enticing Martin O'Neill to replace him. Quite why they think O'Neill would go to Anfield in the current circumstances is not clear.

Anyone else heard abt this? I always knew City would fire Hughes.. he's not good enf to manage a top-4 wannabe club.. rumours about Benitez about to get the axe are becoming more and more common..

you know I still think Liverpool will stick by Rafa as much as the results aren't amazing, the owners know what could happen if they did fire him plus I saw something on BBC the other day where they spoke to fans outside Anfield and at least 90% are sticking by Rafa.

Garry Cook, the chief executive of Manchester City, has sparked fury at Anfield by claiming that Liverpool approached Roberto Mancini with a view to the Italian replacing Rafael Ben?tez as manager.

Cook?s latest controversial comments have landed him in hot water with the Liverpool hierarchy, who have refused to comment. Privately, however, they have not been impressed by his outburst

Seems they really are thinking of replacing Rafa..

Looks to me more like Man City are trying to spark as much unrest as possible to destabilise the club even more, as a rival for the 4th CL spot. I don't really believe it, Liverpool's owners know how damaging sacking Rafa would be to them right now

Serious question here and not to stir it up but what would happen IF Wolves were to win on Boxing day?

I know that alot of fans are blaming the yanks but I've also seen some Liverpool actually say they want rid of Rafa.

On that note.. my cousin is a 'Pool fan and he said to me.. Rafa has won what he could and done what he could.. time for Liverpool to move on.. I feel its more of a financial issue as Rafa couldn't sign the players he really wanted.. but yeah some 'Pool fans are blaming Rafa..

Wouldn't surprise me if Wolves do beat us, everyone else seems to be at the moment.

The question is not whether rafa should go, is there really anyone else that could do a better job at this moment in time.

Yet another catastrophic December for us...

If only Man Utd weren't following in your footsteps, we're playing utter turd as well just now.

Although I really really really do expect a win against Wolves.

Liverpool were very very lucky today, the game turned when the ref (You was bloody crap by the way) sent off Ward even though there were near enough no touch to who ever went down (Dive). Also why is it whenever Wolves touched any Liverpool players the card was out yet Steven Gerrard did 2 worse tackles and he doesn't get a card? Are refs not allowed to book him or something?

Lets face it you wasn't going to beat us with 11 players so you had to get 1 of ours sent off that was evident when all the Liverpool players (including Reina who had run 80 yards up pitch) surrounded the ref (correct me if im wrong but isn't that meant to be a bookable offence these days?).

Gerrard's goal was also in fact a foul on Milijas. Don't believe me then look at photo evidence: Fouling Git

Football is a contact sport. If you seriously think that was a foul, you should consider watching netball.

To be honest, you just sound bitter to me but the fact is that football is about putting the ball in the net. We did, you didn't, we won.

Get over it.

I suppose you think a double footed lunge (which Gerrard did btw) isn't a sending off offence or stamping on someone's ankle well after the ball has been played. As for your contact sport remark lets remember that next time you complain about getting kicked all over the pitch.

    • BetterMediaInfo 1.0.0 by Razvan Serea BetterMediaInfo is a modern, open-source graphical user interface for MediaInfo, designed to improve metadata inspection workflows for audio and video files. It extracts and presents technical parameters such as codec profiles, bitrates, resolution, frame rate, stream ordering, and container-level attributes in a structured, readable layout. The interface is built with clarity and responsiveness in mind, supporting drag-and-drop functionality. It preserves the full feature set of the MediaInfo library while making the data easier to parse for users working in media management, encoding validation, or post-production environments. In short, BetterMediaInfo takes the power of MediaInfo and makes it much easier to use. Whether you're checking video quality, verifying audio settings, or just curious about a file's details, it gives you clear, organized info without the clutter. Requires Microsoft Edge WebView2, which is included in most Windows versions. BetterMediaInfo 1.0.0 changelog: Added an Image stream table to the card view and detail view, including type, color space, resolution, and size fields. Added View settings to toggle Image stream tables in card view and detail view. Added BatchMkvMerge to the welcome page with localized descriptions and a GitHub link. Added a portable 7z archive to the Windows release artifacts. Improved first-run language selection by detecting the system language and saving it to configuration. Updated Italian translations. • We wrote about it here https://www.neowin.net/news/browser-vendors-pen-open-letter-to-microsoft-saying-enough-is-enough/ the open letter itself is here https://browserchoicealliance.org/open-letter/
    • Someone forgot to mention EDR in the title ? I think I will not click anymore on the articles written by this author. All are click bait.
    • Browser vendors including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi have jointly written an open letter to Microsoft saying enough is enough regarding Edge being pushed on Windows users without consent. Microsoft makes it difficult to change the default browser, promotes Edge throughout Windows 11, and has made the uninstall process unnecessarily complicated compared to other apps. Does anyone have more details on what exactly the open letter demands and whether any regulatory action is being considered? Also curious whether this could lead to antitrust investigations similar to what happened with Internet Explorer back in the day. Would love to hear from anyone following this closely.
