DiRT 2 Jump Jam Trailer

Jump Jam kicks off the festival with a bang. In this awesome new trailer you’ll get a taste of the adrenaline-fuelled action you’ll be experiencing at some of the stunning locations visited during your World Tour. You’ll also get a glimpse of some of the amazing cars you’ll be driving like the Colin McRae R4 which was designed by the legend himself.

And If that wasn’t enough the action culminates in a dramatic finale as Ken Block’s Subaru Impreza WRX STI jumps over Travis Pastrana’s Group N Subaru Impreza WRX STI at a spectacular mid-race crossover point.

I'm dying for a new project gotham or even rallisport challenge, the last Dirt was dirt i hope this ones better.

PGR, maybe. RalliSport Challenge, doubt it. But DiRT 1 wasn't "dirt". It was brilliant, and twice as good as DiRT 2 is.

I doubt there will ever be another PGR, clearly not by Bizarre anyway.

Damn, you're right. :( Microsoft Game Studios own the rights to PGR, so if they do another one, it won't be developed by Bizarre Creations, who are now owned by Activision Blizzard, and they're currently working on Blur.

There's almost no chance of another Rallisport challenge either, for the same reason as PGR, only it was DICE that did Rallisport, and they're now owned by EA.

they could probably do another MSR though, gameplay is very similar to pgr and i would guess the ip is owned by either bizarre or maybe sega

Exactly.

Blur looks nice, but I'm not too interested now they've gone down the arcade racing route. Plus just about every other "power-up" racing game has fell flat on it's face apart from Mario Kart.

Should have stuck to what they do best.

@Waylander, yeah it was published by Sega. They prob retain the rights today.

Surely you mean "Bler" they are Scouse after all. ;D

So what do people think of the full game then?

Dirt 2 isn't even out yet and you say Dirt 1 is twice as good as Dirt 2? I take from that that you have played Dirt 2. You must know a lot about it then, how exactly is it 2 times worse than the brilliant Dirt 1? How about it man, fill us in.

Easy, man! Take a chill pill! Obviously, I wasn't being specific. But DiRT 2 has disappointed me so much, I just felt like saying that. The graphics are about the same, the interface isn't as good, the environments are annoying now (like NFS ProStreet), the cars slide about too much, and the flashback feature from GRID spoils the fun a bit.

Sorry man. Sounds like it sucks altho I didnt care for Dirt 1 much beyond the Trucks and rails...cars were weightless IMO. I think this is the end of the line for me and Codemasters. Ive owned them all and every time I think they are finally over that last hump they kick themselves in the face. I love rally racers and it seems we get a good one every 10 years or so, and that equals almost none. Sorry for jumping on you, good info, thanks.

Nope, not even close.

    • WordArt was cool. We now have color fonts as a substitute although Word only supports COLRv0 and COLRv1 (Fraud OS 11 only). The OpenType SVG color font format needs to be supported by Office. Adobe's apps support it
