I'm installing 7600 RTM because quite frankly, all sources point to RTM. I'll re-arm it for 120days extension and then activate with my retail Pro (or premium depending on if outlook for a RDP patch is good) key once they arrive in the mail \m/.

I am going to laugh at everyone that is downloading and installing the leak, only to find out, it's not final.

Why are you laughing, strange thing to do, I downloaded and installed this because it is a newer build then then one I have, I don't care if it's RTM or not, get that one from Technet if they up it there, and if it turns out to be RTM, I just get the key from Technet.

I just think its funny people are telling everyone else it is RTM when there is no announcement

to all the fools "laughing" at those who are installing? you do realise that even if it isnt rtm, it's the latest and nearest to rtm build there is, so even if there is a newer build a simple upgrade will suffice.

why wait for an official announcement, its just stupid.

See it like this: He clearly doesn't have much else going on in his life. ;)

no but you can extend the activation period to 120 days, by which time i'll have my legit keys.

Good point. But I'm happy with the RC for now. I'm gonna wait until I know Asus have working 7 drivers for my Xonar. Apparently the drivers stopped working in the later 7 builds.

Format C? My C drive is getting taken out, I'm buying another Samsung F1 just for Win7 because if it is indeed RTM then all I will do is bung C drive into my external caddy and it will become my 2nd backup drive :p

Drives are so cheap now, ?40 for 500GB !

There is a patch released by a user on Asus' forum which sorted out any Windows 7 issues with Xonar cards.

Thanks for the heads-up. Unless they've managed to bork Punkbuster then RTM should be good-to-go for me when the time comes.
